  13. There are many functions which do not appear to migrate properly when 
  14. upgrading from earlier versions of OS/2 to OS/2 Warp 4.
  15.  
  16. Transport and communication applications, such as MPTS (Multi-Protocol 
  17. Transport Services) and OS/2 LAN Requester or IBM Peer for OS/2, are 
  18. not upgraded and reconfigured.

  22. It is recommended that you install the base Operating System first, 
  23. then use Selective Install for Networking to install each networking 
  24. component, beginning with MPTS.
