  2. │ We set up this sub-board to demonstrate Bulletron's capabilities as  │
  3. │ a technical support forum.  We set up a number of file directories   │
  4. │ on this sub-board.  Enter an "F" command to see a list of them.  You │
  5. │ can have up to 35 file directories on each Bulletron sub-board.  The │
  6. │ limiting factor is the number of letters and numerals in the English │
  7. │ alphabet that can be used for menu selections, and still have single │
  8. │ keystroke hot-keys.  We made a matchmaker for this sub-board that    │
  9. │ asks questions about a person's technical experience and abilities   │
  10. │ to help people looking for assistance locate the right individuals   │
  11. │ to help them.  We set message purge on this forum to zero so that    │
  12. │ the system continually builds a database of technical information    │
  13. │ that people can search using the "SS" and "RS" commands.  The system │
  14. │ operator can go through the discussions on this sub-board            │
  15. │ periodically and edit them to remove remarks not relevant to the     │
  16. │ main topic, or delete irrelevant discussions.  The message summary   │
  17. │ is set to "B" because callers may skip over this sub-board going to  │
  18. │ the more popular Dial-Your-Match sub-board, and they might miss some │
  19. │ discussions with an "L" type summary.                                │

  21. │ The message that you are reading right now is named "HELPOS2".  You  │
  22. │ can make a help message like this for each sub-board.  Name the      │
  23. │ files "HELPbbb.UTL", where "bbb" is the three character sub-board    │
  24. │ abbreviation.  Then use the BBUTIL program, function "H" to load all │
  25. │ the "*.UTL" files on your disk into messages on your "utilities"     │
  26. │ sub-board.                                                           │
