  2. │ This is your Personal Mail sub-board.  Every Bulletron system must   │
  3. │ have one.  All private messages are automatically forwarded to this  │
  4. │ sub-board, no matter which sub-board a user has selected when he     │
  5. │ originates the private message.  We set the message summary for this │
  6. │ sub-board to "M" so that each user sees a list of private messages   │
  7. │ addressed to him when he selects this sub-board.  We set the access  │
  8. │ level for this sub-board to zero so that even users who are below    │
  9. │ the default access level for unverified new users can receive a      │
  10. │ message telling them why their access level is so low.  The Enter    │
  11. │ access level is set to 100 so that people need to subscribe before   │
  12. │ they can originate mail to others.  We set the access level for the  │
  13. │ Download and Upload commands to 100 so that only subscribers can     │
  14. │ send private files to one another.  The access levels for the Who    │
  15. │ and Match commands are set to 10, as a default.  There could be a    │
  16. │ matchmaker on this sub-board, but we have chosen not to make one.    │
  17. │ We set the expiration for messages on this sub-board to 30 days so   │
  18. │ that the system does not carry the overhead of mail to dead accounts │
  19. │ forever.                                                             │

  21. │ The message that you are reading right now is named "HELPPSL".  You  │
  22. │ can make a help message like this for each sub-board.  Name the      │
  23. │ files "HELPbbb.UTL", where "bbb" is the three character sub-board    │
  24. │ abbreviation.  Then use the BBUTIL program, function "H" to load all │
  25. │ the "*.UTL" files on your disk into messages on your "utilities"     │
  26. │ sub-board.                                                           │
