│ This Bulletron Sysops' Echo sub-board will not work in your demo │
│ copy of Bulltron, because the demo version can not support wide area │
│ networking. There are many copies of this demo besides yours, and │
│ they all have the same serial number. Without a unique serial │
│ number, the routing tables for the wide area networking can not be │
│ built. │
│ │
│ Assuming that you had purchased the commercial versions of │
│ Bulletron, and established network connections to an Bullenet hub, │
│ all messages posted on this sub-board would be transmitted to all │
│ the other systems in the network on a daily basis. Conversely, you │
│ would see messages appearing from all the other systems in thevery │
│ network every day. │
│ │
│ We have set the basic access level for this sub-board to 500 so that │
│ is only visible to your company employees. That is because the │
│ nature of this conference is technical discussion about Bulletron │
│ systems, between the operators of Bulletron systems. It is not │
│ relevant to the average user. We set the message purge to zero │
│ because system operators are very busy people and we dont' want the │
│ messages to be deleted if they don't get read. Many of the messages │
│ will also be useful for reference later on. The other access levels │
│ are irrelevant as the only people accessing this echo conference │
│ will have a fairly high access level. Existing systems on Bullenet │
│ have established this echo conference, as well as dozens of others │
│ with topics ranging from AIDS information to Star Trek, that will be │
│ of more interest to your users. │
│ │
│ The message that you are reading right now is named "HELPSYS". You │
│ can make a help message like this for each sub-board. Name the │
│ files "HELPbbb.UTL", where "bbb" is the three character sub-board │
│ abbreviation. Then use the BBUTIL program, function "H" to load all │
│ the "*.UTL" files on your disk into messages on your "utilities" │
│ sub-board. │
