BLOND BROWNIES
The ingredients are the same as toll house cookies, but the mix is different.
The beauty of the followin recipie is you can make with few measurements
with a minimum of dishes!
2/3 c. butter or oleo (just chop two sticks at the 1/3 line)
1 lb. brown sugar (just by by the 1lb box and no measuring!)
or 2 1/4 cups
1 t. vanilla (I don't meausre because I love the stuff)
3 eggs
2 1/4 flour (when I'm lazy, I just stir it in until it looks
like enough!)
1/2 bag morsels any flavor, whole bag if you like, nuts too
MELT the butter in a 4 qt. sauce pan on low heat
STIR in brown sugar
STIR in vanilla
COOL or the morsles will melt later
STIR in eggs
(so far, one pan and one spoon dirty!)
STIR in flour, a rounded 2 cup liquid measure is about right
as much as 3 cups if you like them dry and cake like
STIR in morsles
GREASE a 12x8 pan, better yet a 13x9 baking pan
SPREAD batter in pan
BAKE 350 oF for 20-25 minutes, use toothpick test.
even if you use less flour and they are gooey like they
should be, they won't stick to the toothpick when done
If you are using a smaller pan (say 11x7) and you brownies
are taller, bake a little longer but don't burn the bottom
