  30.   to the one firm line in the central position of the lower trigram- implying 
  31.   leadership from within.  The image is that of subterranean streams beneath 
  32.   fields of earth, and is indicative of the hidden fluidity of the people in 
  33.   times of turmoil.  The title 'Love' is also taken from the combination of the 
  34.   triads.  Water is the symbol of the moon, the heart, and of emotional tides; 
  35.   locked within the substance of the body (primal earth), the hexagram Shih 
  36.   denotes inner feelings and desires.  In astral terms, 'Love' is the province 
  37.   of the active principle of the inner sustainer, Venus.  Shih demands constant 
  38.   fluidity and an awareness of dangers within an attitude of unceasing willing-
  39.   ness and devotion.
