  3. Subject: CRAB: Hot Crab Dip

  5. Here's a nifty chip or veggie dip which you serve up warm.  Great for
  6. holiday guests!

  8. 8   oz  cream cheese softened
  9. 7.5 oz  crab meat flaked and rinsed
  10. 2   Tbs chopped onion
  11. 2   Tbs milk
  12. 1.5 tsp horseradish (I add a little more)
  13. .25 tsp salt
  14. dash pepper

  16. Mix all ingredients and slap in a casserole dish.  If you're feeling
  17. punchy, sprinkle some sliced almonds over the top.  Bake at 375 for 15
  18. minutes.  Serve hot!

  20. Tip:  if you use canned crap meat, get the perishable stuff and try to
  21. use (in order of preference) backfin, lump, or special.  Do NOT go with
  22. the cheap variety found on an unrefrigerated shelf.
