Subject: Pound Cake Recipe
I just discovered this recipe on the back of a Columbo Yogurt container,
and tried it. It was easy, and turned out better than any I've made
before. Recipe makes 16, 1/2 inch slices, each with 150 calories, and
no cholesterol.

POUND CAKE "made healthy with Columbo Nonfat Yogurt"

2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup softened margarine
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 1/2 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add Egg whites,
beating four minutes or until well blended. Add vanilla and almond
extract, beating at low speed until well blended. Set aside.
Combine flour with baking soda and salt. Add alternately with
yogurt to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Pour into greased and floured 8 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 3 inch loaf pan.
Bake 65 minutes at 350 degrees.
