  3. Does anyone know the status of the 1003.1 extension draft?
  4. In June 1990 it was called 1003.1b, but I see from the
  5. October 1990 posting to this newsgroup that it's been
  6. renamed 1003.1a.  (This is the extension that's suposed
  7. to provide symbolic links, among other things.) In Zlotnick's
  8. book he refers to Draft 3 of this extension, but I've seen
  9. reference to a Draft 4 (Sept. 1990).

  11. Anyone know what draft it's currently at, and what a reasonable
  12. guess as to it's completion date might be?  Someone in this
  13. newsgroup said early 1991 (which has past) but Zlotnick
  14. mentions 1993 (which seems a little too far away).  Thanks.
