  4. 27   CONTINUED:

  6.     We HOLD ON Sisko for a moment as the Preacher's words 
  7.     sink in. Then we go to ---
  8.  
  9. 28   INT. BENNY'S APARTMENT - NIGHT
  10.  
  11.     A small, modest, one-room apartment. Benny walks over 
  12.     to a kitchen table. A cheap manual typewriter and a 
  13.     radio rest on the table. He turns on the radio and we 
  14.     hear the haunting sounds of Charlie Parker. In the 
  15.     b.g., we see an upright piano tucked in a corner.
  16.  
  17.     Benny stares at the typewriter for a moment, then sits 
  18.     and, almost defiantly, rolls a piece of paper into the 
  19.     carriage. Benny sighs for a beat, then --
  20.  
  21. 29   EXTREMELY CLOSE ON THE TYPEWRITER
  22.  
  23.     to see the keys pound on the paper: Captain Benjamin 
  24.     Sisko sat looking out the window of Deep Space Nine, 
  25.     his ebony reflection staring back at him.
  26.  
  27. 30   ON BENNY (OPTICAL)
  28.  
  29.     as he sits and gazes up at his kitchen window. 
  30.     Reflected in the glass, we see Benny wearing Sisko's 
  31.     Starfleet uniform.
  32.  
  33.     Benny blinks and rubs his eyes -- somewhat thrown by 
  34.     the image. When he opens his eyes again, the image is 
  35.     gone.
  36.  
  37.     Benny then takes a deep breath, regaining his composure 
  38.     and returns his attention.to his work. As he continues 
  39.     typing, we:
  40.  
  41.                                     FADE OUT.
