M1L1.ZIP 18059 02-02-95 No special theme, this is just for fun
MADMAX.ZIP 7237 02-02-95 This level was designed solely for deathmatch
| play. It is based around the MadMax style
| chainsaw battle, with couple of other weapons
| thrown in. Lots of warps for "The Fly"
| effect, together with fast-paced play makes
| this one a must for all deathmatch fans!
MAGIC.ZIP 3040 02-02-95 You'll find yourself in a small green stone
| room. Fire your gun and presto, the room is
| gone! Now you will see a gray column on the
| right
MAKDOOM1.ZIP 409444 02-02-95 One classic Doom level complete with all thre
| keys, traps, secret doors, and of course, lot
| of targets. This level is an attempt to
| mirror the mood and detailed maps that made
| the original game so much fun. Stress was
| placed on QUALITY. Some WAD files floating
| around have a thrown together feel
MAKDOOM2.ZIP 522357 02-02-95 Two classic Doom levels complete with all thr
| keys, traps, secret doors, and of course, lot
| of targets. These levels are an attempt to
| mirror the mood and detailed maps that made
| the original game so much fun. Stress was
| placed on QUALITY. Some WAD files floating
| around have a thrown together feel. For thos
| veterans of MAKDOOM1, I have attempted to
| create a different "flavor" with the second
| level. A new style rather than a rerun of th
| same traps, etc. You be the judge. This
| should only be used with the registered
| version of Doom as it replaces the second
| episode
MAKDOOM3.ZIP 725806 02-02-95 Three classic Doom levels complete with all
| three keys, traps, secret doors, and of
| course, lots of targets. These levels are an
| attempt to mirror the mood and detailed maps
| that made the original game so much fun.
| Stress was placed on QUALITY. Attention
| veterans of MAKDOOM1 or 2; I have attempted t
| create a slightly more difficult level with
| E2M3. (It only makes sense that things will
| gradually get nastier.) Also, there are some
| new "tricks" in MAK's bag. Nothing you
| Doomaholics can't pummel with ease... almost

| (modified version?)
MAKMYDAY.ZIP 343975 02-02-95 This is really good stuff for all those, who
| love playing DOOM just because it's fun! I pu
| in some nice things to get and its a full
| level with all keys. Since this is my first
| level, i'm expecting some bugs, although i'd
| only found one. So, if you discover another,
| don't bother, i will find it, too. Since you
| cannot reach me in any way, just look out for
| updates on your server. They are coming!!!
| MAKMYDAY contains a lot of enemies, but
| there's always a chance to beat them. Look ou
| for strange looking walls, they may be a
| secret door. Watch your back at the
| beginning! Perhaps you shouldn't take the
| chaingun in the startroom before you are sure
| not to forget something!!
MANDIX11.ZIP 35393 02-02-95 This is the first level of what I hope to be
| complete episode when I'm done
MANIAC.ZIP 34265 02-02-95 The first in the MCS series, covering various
| city areas. This one is the start of the
| sewer and maintenance tunnels
MANIC.ZIP 67719 02-02-95 The level itself is pretty large, to be quite
| honest I think it's huge! There's absolutely
| loads of monsters, if you like killing lots
| and also enjoy a bit of a puzzle element to
| levels then you should love this level. Multi
| Player (coperative) playing is supported on
| this level but due to the large size it was
| decided deathmatch would be exceptionally
| boring and is therefore not implemented
MANSE11.ZIP 56857 02-02-95 This was my first wad, designed six months ag
| It is not a huge level; I intended it to be
| map 1 of a full episode, but I haven't had th
| free time to finish (what with DOOM2, Descent
| RotT, Dark Forces, Heretic, and Magic Carpet.
| It is, IMHO, a very detailed and nice looking
| WAD, though. It's also pretty hard in UV mod
| (let alone in Nightmare)
MARBAS11.ZIP 62590 02-02-95 A Marine Base on a distant outpost, taken ove
| by the Hordes of Hell. Although saved as E1M1
| it is probably a better replacement for E1M4
| or E2M2. It includes an exit to the secret
| level, but it's tough to find. The regular
| exit takes a bit of fancy fingerwork to get t
| as well! Only contains Weapons 1-5, but adds
| a Plasma gun (and no extra cells) in
| Deathmatch mode. I've tried to keep all
| textures etc. pretty consistent, except for a
| few special areas, and I think I've gotten ri
| of all HOM effects
MARC1.ZIP 31412 02-02-95 This is basically my house with the pool (gri
| and an extra bit, there are no fancy trimming
| to this level, just a shit load of bad guys i
| my house for those trigger happy maniacs.
| Blow them away!!
MARC1_1.ZIP 31468 02-02-95 This is basically my house with the pool (gri
| and an extra bit, there are no fancy trimming
| to this level, just a shit load of bad guys i
| my house for those trigger happy maniacs.
| Blow them away !! Version 1.1, fixed some
| textures!
MARKRM2.ZIP 17965 02-02-95 This is another in the arena-like series of m
| wads. (There are now 3 and more on the way.)
| This one is much more chaotic than any of the
| others. The was is again basically a large
| dark room with weapons scattered around on
| pedestals. However, this time, the whole roo
| is like climbing twisty stairs, it reminds me
| of mountain climbing. Also as a bonus there
| is a SECOND ROOM of the same terrain with a
| plasma gun and the chainsaw. There are few
| obvious hiding places in this wad, but there
| is plenty of room for creativity. If you
| liked the original markroom, you might like
| this one
MARKRM3.ZIP 17182 02-02-95 This is another in the arena-like series of m
| wads. (There are now 3 and more on the way.)
| Markroom3 is becoming my favorite. The wad i
| one room, but it has many sub-parts. The 2
| main parts are the Stair Sections and the
| Floor Sections. The Stairs are elevated abov
| the Floor sections and contain mostly ammo an
| armor. The Floor sections contain the weapon
| and the teleport Ladder. The Ladder can be
| used to traverse the room instead of the Stai
| sections. There is a Green Ladder which runs
| north and a Blue Ladder that runs south.
| Remember this. The Ladder can create some
| great teleporter races. Now, since you're
| probably confused and don't know what the hel
| I'm talking about. Play the level and see fo
| yourself!
MARKROOM.ZIP 9699 02-02-95 This WAD is a big area good for multiplayer
| NETDOOM. It's got tons of weapons and no
| armor, so be prepared to die LOTS! We've bee
| playing it around here for a few days, and th
| matches can easily last > 1 hr
MARKS1ST.ZIP 23048 02-02-95 This patch file is for E1M1. To designed for
| only deathmatch play. It works best with 4
| players but can be played with 2 or 3 players
| All weapons are evenly spaced to insure a
| good deathmatch
MARX1_1.ZIP 11073 02-02-95 DOOM .WAD File
MARX1_2.ZIP 31700 02-02-95 DOOM .WAD File
MARX2_1.ZIP 41576 02-02-95 Pretty simple, no real puzzles, just action
MATRIX.ZIP 37188 02-02-95 This is my first Doom level. It's not too
| tough and not too easy! I hope you enjoy it a
| much as I enjoyed writing it. Tested on Doom
| Version 1.2 Should work on 1.5 and 1.666 but
| did not test on these versions
MATRIX1.ZIP 27627 02-02-95 This was done simply for a death match senari
| A friend of mine, with whom I often play
| death matches, whined that the wads we had
| been using had too few ways around. So came
| this wad file. I added the nasties also to
| quell his whining, seems he needs monsters to
| feel at home! I made it E1M9 so when you fin
| and hit the exit button you restart the level
| You basically can just keep looping till you
| get tired of it
MAV2C.ZIP 55107 02-02-95 A Deathmatch WAD. This is the first level of
| what will be a two or three level mini episod
| based on ideas developed in MAVERICK.WAD,
| which everyone said was beautiful but too big
| and ammo-poor for two players. Instead of
| putting all the neat ideas into one big level
| I am breaking them up by episode. E1M1 is th
| Arena, with some surrounding corridors and a
| central hide&seek a little like the one in
| E1M4 which seems popular
MAV2D.ZIP 41283 02-02-95 This is the first level of what will be a two
| or three level mini episode based on ideas
| developed in MAVERICK.WAD, which everyone sai
| was beautiful but too big and ammo-poor for
| two players. Instead of putting all the neat
| ideas into one big level, I am breaking them

MAV2M1.ZIP 18347 02-02-95 MAV2 - A Deathmatch Mini-Episode. This is
| (part of) a preliminary version of a three- o
| four- mission mini-episode designed for the
| ultimate in DOOM DEATHMATCH enjoyment! It
| should be usable under 1.2 through 1.6, any
| deathmatch rules, although the flow of play
| will of course be slightly different.
| Actually, you may see a couple of small HOM
| (Hall Of Mirrors) glitches under 1.2, but it
| shouldn't affect game play very much, and
| under 1.5-1.6 it's perfect. The TARGET CENTE
| is a lightning level to get those Deathmatch
| juices flowing! There is no place to hide,
| nowhere to go, just an open "playing field"
| surrounded by "bleachers" and a control room.
| You enter from one of four "ready rooms" with
| a shotgun or chaingun, but all four ready roo
| doors open together, so your enemy will have
| to spot you visually
MAVERICK.ZIP 36395 02-02-95 A DOOM Level for Deathmatch Play. Replaces
| E2M1. Uses existing graphics
MAXBAD11.ZIP 48679 02-02-95 LARGE wad with several MEAN battlefields one
| which is appropriately coffin shaped. Even o
| skill 1 you won't get lonely for baddies!
MAXFRAG.ZIP 33592 02-02-95 Quite effective Deathmatch level utilizing
| responsive logistical projection and mobility
| (What that means is you'll be running around
| like a bunch of squirrels on Prozac.)
MAYAN666.ZIP 112715 02-02-95 Mayan666 is based on the architecture of the
| ancient Mayan civilization. There is a large
| open area containing four buildings, three of
| which are pyramids. In the center is a sunke
| court where a kind of soccer to the death was
| once played. There are also three small
| underground areas off the large open area.
| See hint at the end of this file if you can't
| find the rocket launcher. This is my attempt
| to create a level that works well for either
| deathmatch or single play. It has been play
| tested in all modes and tweaked for maximum
| fun
MAYAN667.ZIP 278830 02-02-95 This is an upgraded version of Mayan666.
| Mayan667 is based on the architecture of the
| ancient Mayan civilization. There is a large
| open area containing four buildings, three of
| which are pyramids. In the center is a sunke
| court where a kind of soccer to the death was

| deathmatch or single play. It has been play

| fun
MAYO.ZIP 18064 02-02-95 A deathmatch Wad with a massive centre
| elevator. Connected to the elevator chamber
| are rooms that are connected with stairways.
| The difficulty level determines the weapons
| available. Shooting at people on the elevato
| gives rockets interesting trajectories
MAZE1.ZIP 27873 02-02-95 This started out as an experiment in learning
| DEU, and just grew into this .WAD file. It's
| got a little of everything a new DEU user
| would need to spend time figuring out,
| different doors, wall textures, steps, lifts
| and more. It's meant to replace Episode 1,
| Map 1, so there ain't no Cacodemons, rocket
| launchers or instant death traps, if you're
| into that stuff you'll need to wait for my
| next effort
MAZE3.ZIP 22977 02-02-95 This level is the product of having played
| several deathmatch level of other authors and
| not being satisfied that it provided the
| proper 'arena' for a deathmatch, there were
| far too long and complicated and the players
| were more engrossed in actually getting
| 'through' the level rather than killing each
| other! The 'MAZE' is simple but provides the
| best arena for DEATHMATCH play
MAZE5.ZIP 18547 02-02-95 This level is for those who think that there
| are no more challenges. It's a maze. But
| there's a catch. You can't see the walls
MAZEWAD.ZIP 71525 02-02-95 You must solve three famous mazes to escape
MB_NEW.ZIP 22395 02-02-95 A drop in for one of the tougher episode one
| levels
MBE1M1.ZIP 29398 02-02-95 My first wad. It's a remake of the original
| E1M1 with alot more enemies, weapons, and
| secret areas
MC94URB.ZIP 114070 02-02-95 A deathmatch level originally developed as th
| official arena for the 1st Italian Doom
| Championship (Urbino, September 11-25, 1994),
| sponsored by MCmicrocomputer, the leading
| italian microcomputer magazine. (That
| explains its name and the presence of the MC
| logo in the central hoctagonal hall). The
| level is quite wide, very symmetrical, with 3
| rings of long corridors which surround a
| central "plaza". 4 carefully designed special
| entry points ensure the optimal deployment of
| players. All the major weapons are present,
| as well as some healing potions, lots of
| barrels and a few monsters. Some nice tricks
| are played with switches, lifts and lights (i
| certain areas the presence of the light or th
| lowering of a floor is an useful warning
| against a potential ambush)
MC!SHOCK.ZIP 40142 02-02-95 The Mega Shock. One of the hardest levels
| ever!
MEAT.ZIP 41748 02-02-95 It's a fast moving adventure with lots of
| monsters, hidden goodies, secret rooms, and a
| few traps. Many hours were spent creating an
| playtesting. It's an E3M5 substitution.
| Supports single and multiplayer or Deathmatch
| mode. Difficulty settings are implemented as
| Easy/Med., and Hard
MEDIEVAL.ZIP 1126067 02-02-95 These Three .WADS are Very Different in that
| they take you back to about 1600. All Weapon
| are Medieval as are the Characters. Just pla
| it as any normal series of .WADS. Replaces
| Episode 2 Maps 1-8
MEDMAN27.ZIP 33783 02-02-95 This wad was a try at the special effects; if
| you love teleporters you'll like it. As you
| play, watch the map develop. Hence, the name
MEDMAN28.ZIP 33883 02-02-95 Not much to say. Second WAD I've done.
| BADBLU34 was the first nothing but a
| carnagefest. This one was a try at the
| special effects; if you love teleporters
| you'll like it. As you play, watch the map
| develop... Hence, the name
MEGADETH.ZIP 198114 02-02-95 The ultimate deathmatch. This level is
| specifically designed for DEATHMATCH play. I
| comprises 4 zones: the ATRIUM (centre); JSH
| ZONE (East); ARENA (West); and the WARP ZONE
| (North). There are also two SECRET ROOMS.
| Each zone has its own theme, strategy and
| secrets. Note that the skill levels (1-5)
| also have a major effect on the strategies.
| MEGADETH is designed to be played with
| monsters present. MEGADETH incorporates the
| use of enhanced weapons
MEGAMAZE.ZIP 211738 02-02-95 Really big maze. A few good sniper points, a
| a pretty good secret area. First level is
| really just a "signature". You'll see what I
| mean. I put it first rather than second so
| people actually see it. Also, be warned that
| there are exactly 4 d-match starts in e1m1,
| right next to each other. Like I said, it's
| really just a sig level. Agree not to shoot
| until e1m2
MEGAPACK.ZIP 116012 02-02-95 After too many hours I have finally completed
| my second complete external wad file for use
| with the registered version of Doom. As
| promised, it also contains a re-release of my
| first wad megawatt.wad. This new version of
| megawatt has the bugs fixed and now has
| difficulty levels implemented. For those
| easily offened by satanic overtones, neither
| level uses any satanic textures. Megawatt
| replaces level one of episode one and Megalab
| replaces level two of episode one. Both
| levels contain multi-player and deathmatch
| starting points, and skill level options
MEGAWATT.ZIP 39708 02-02-95 Doom External Wad File: Megawatt.wad After
| too many hours of editing I have finally
| completed my first complete Doom level. This
| external wad was designed and compiled with
| the Deu version 5 Beta level editor. The wad
| file replaces episode 1 level 1
MELANGE.ZIP 27836 02-02-95 A fairly simple level with a couple of tricks
| in it, good for all modes of gameplay. Watch
| out for the Spectres in the darker areas
MEMPHIS.ZIP 74060 02-02-95 Having just discovered the secret entrance to
| the long lost unholy temple of Memphis you
| must proceed to infiltrate and destroy the
| remaining unholy hosts, then escape with your
| life. The authors recommend playing ultra
| violence. There aren't any really big monster
| because karl hates them, but be careful with
| your supplies anyway, because there ain't no
| such thing as a free lunch
MESH.ZIP 66146 02-02-95 Larger than average WAD set in Sci-Lab
| Environment. Fighting is tempered with a few
| puzzles
METALICA.ZIP 279418 02-02-95 Metallica Music for DOOM!! Regular PWAD,
| doesn't overwrite DOOM.WAD
MEV2I_I.ZIP 72579 02-02-95 This wad is designed for the BEST use with
| DEATHMATCH 2.0 (it's great, but not required.
| This is the 2nd DEATHMATCH WAD in the MEV
| series. (The DOOM II version is recommended,
| as it has the SSGun! and is a bit more
| refined) This level was designed to have
| players follow a cyclical course, chasing
| after one another. Psychology plays a big
| part in playing this! There are several areas
| intentionally designed to allow easy ambushes
| but also contain weaknesses so things aren't
| too unfair
MIA.ZIP 64939 02-02-95 Set in the jungles of Southeast Asia, you are
| sent on a covert mission to rescue some old
| buddies from 'Nam. When you find them, they
| have changed (boy have they changed) and now
| there is only one way to save them. This
| level is dark and intense, with some neat
| tricks and effects
MICK.ZIP 44854 02-02-95 Welcome to my first WAD. It was a lot of fun
| creating it. I hope you have as much fun
| playing it. My beta-testers had a lot of goo
| things to say about it. One thing they
| warned me about: don't try this level using
| only keyboard control if you usually play DOO
| with a mouse. Words to live by
MIKE1.ZIP 24431 02-02-95 This is my first wad built with DEU and BSP.
| It's not a huge wad but it has it's moments.
| When the IMPS start appearing start blasting.
| The file is MIKE1.WAD and is level E1M1.
| There is only a player 1 start. So it's a
| solo mission
MIKE2.ZIP 22347 02-02-95 This level is designed for DEATHMATCH play.
| It's a modified E1m1 with some new perks.
| Look for the chainsaw on the elevator, and
| some new exits / entrances to the rocket area
| As well the slime pits don't cause you damage
| any longer, and dark areas have been added fo
| added suspense
MINES.ZIP 29283 02-02-95 Imagine you come across a mine shaft. A well
| guarded mine shaft at that. Are you brave
| enough to venture in? Lots of hidden doors,
| traps, and teleports. This level replaces
| E1M1 for the registered version of DOOM. The
| only known bug is that it errors out during
| Multiplayer mode. It works fine for single
| player. This level also supports difficulty
| levels. If you are really insane, try level
MK21.ZIP 33171 02-02-95 This is the first level in the Asmodeus serie
| This series takes place on episode 2
MNTFIRE.ZIP 96219 02-02-95 The setting is inside a volcano: there are
| corridors, rooms and some larger areas.
| Overall the level should run smoothly on all
| machines. The creation of this WAD was made
| possible by the two great programs called DEU
| 5.1 and BSP 1.1 (dmgraph and wt helped, too).
| In this WAD I continued my work in the
| creation of realistic lighting effects. When
| you walk through corridors you will find area
| lit by torches. Don't expect any torch in
| natural cracks. Some of the rooms have
| objects (pillars, etc) which cast shadows ont
| the floor and on the walls. This level takes
| place in a volcano, volcanoes contain lava,
| and lava is deadly. If you fall into the lav
| YOU ARE DEAD. There's no way to get out of
| it. If you see dangerous ledges then SAVE
| YOUR GAME. Special effects include: waterfal
| with sound, a couple of attempts to recreate
| cave-ins, a fallen bridge and computer
| messages! The difficulty is higher than Dead
| Base
MOO.ZIP 36698 02-02-95 Modified level of Id's level 1. Extremely go
| for deathmatch
MOODIE.ZIP 31759 02-02-95 Serious DEATHMATCH WAD, for serious players!!
MOON.ZIP 30762 02-02-95 This file was created in my spare time for fu
MOONBAS1.ZIP 40677 02-02-95 You fell asleep on Earth, but you wake up
| somewhere else is it a dream or are you reall
| fighting for your life on a moonbase in
| another dimension?
MOOSTAR.ZIP 21260 02-02-95 Very fast spiral stairway DEATHMATCH wad for
| itchy fragers. No 7 GUN
MOREHELL.ZIP 56365 02-02-95 This level is the revision of 11inhell.wad I
| you are a fan of that one, then delete it and
| use this instead. This level was built just
| for deathmatches. It has several main rooms
| with numerous sniper spots, teleports, and
| visial effects. It takes two people to open
| the exit. This level also has "hell" and a
| special room that lets you look at all major
| areas. It is also small enough to let you
| find the other player quickly to rack up the
| frags. There are numerous connections betwee
| the rooms so you won't end up running for
| miles
MOUNTAIN.ZIP 133961 02-02-95 You find yourself in a hellish valley with a
| pulsating red sky, the only way to go is in.
| You find yourself in a computer control cente
| that's infested with creatures that could onl
| have come from Hell itself. You must fight
| your way to the summit of the mountain to
| survive and to get home. Good luck
MOURNING.ZIP 14975 02-02-95 First demo of my new level, Into the Weezul's
| Lair Part 1 Mournign at Marsbase. It shows
| the few secrets and the main entrance. Notic
| how simple this level really is once you
| figure out where to find the real firepower
MT.ZIP 77077 02-02-95 Mount DOOM Wad
MTFIRE09.ZIP 100370 02-02-95 Contains the version 0.9 of the 'Mountain of
| Fire' PWAD. This WAD is the sequel to 'Dead
| Base' and the two wads should be played in
| sequence for optimum performance. Anyway, it
| is possible to play the level even if you
| don't have Dead Base. The setting is inside
| volcano, there aren't very large areas with
| lots of stuff, so it should run smoothly on
| most computers
MUD.ZIP 24647 02-02-95 My first attempt at creating a level. I said
| level E1M2 could be a realy good deathmatch
| level if you changed it around a bit. So tha
| is exactly what I did. Some good ideas and
| seems like a good level for deathmatch. We'll
| see. I might decide to make more levels
| suitable for deatchmatch in the future, but
| none are in the process of being made to this
| date
MUD3.ZIP 403859 02-02-95 MUD WADS EPISODE 1 includes secret level
| BATTLESTATION 1 - FORT BOONESBORO Modified
| specifically for the co-op game!
MUDBAS12.ZIP 38156 02-02-95 E1L2 - Deeper Into The Complex. Now ya did
| it, Does the term "outa the frying pan and
| into the fire" mean anything? These guys are
| relentless. Goal here is to get out. You kno
| the lift is near somewhere. Just gotta find
| out where the switch is
MUDBAS16.ZIP 37934 02-02-95 There's a switch hidden somewhere and it
| releases the exit door back near the start
| position
MUDLAB11.ZIP 31664 02-02-95 E1L1 - Headquarters. You have successfully
| infiltrated the enemies labratory base but
| while you were "freshening up", they have
| discovered your true identity! Now you're
| stuck smack dab in the middle of them with
| only the weapons that you always carry and

| out is through the lower levels
MUDMAD14.ZIP 37514 02-02-95 New and Hard! You've got to clear this comple
| of all evil. There's a lot here so you are
| going to have your hands full. Not TOO hard
| in easy modes but VERY hard in 3 and 4 is...
| Wow! (God Mode)
MUDMAN17.ZIP 26595 02-02-95 Previous release... This is one of my persona
| favorites. Hard in easy mode and impossible
| in hard mode
MUDRAT12.ZIP 33796 02-02-95 E1L2 - Deeper Into The Complex. Now ya did
| it, Does the term "outa the frying pan and
| into the fire" mean anything? These guys are
| relentless. Goal here is to get out. You're
| gonna hafta just search around for the door t
| the key. Save Your Game!
MUDROX13.ZIP 259181 02-02-95 This is seven levels - Single Player. No new
| graphics but some great challanges. Unarj to
| Doom Dir and type MUDROX. Good Luck
MUDTOW15.ZIP 39725 02-02-95 Previous release... Loads of monsters. Hidde
| room has key to exit room. Look in map mode t
| get all sectors! It's hidden amidst the othe
| rooms
MUDVAT13.ZIP 38877 02-02-95 E1L3 - Lower Levels. Got to this floor, no
| all the doors are locked, better go somewhere
| and get a way in. Funny how sometimes the
| only way out is to go deeper. Good Luck!
MUDZAP.ZIP 49966 02-02-95 This is a very tough level, designed for the
| single player. Doom II version will be ready
| within days!
MULTIGON.ZIP 41150 02-02-95 This my first attempt at building my own leve
| and I think it came out pretty well. Let me
| know what you think. Too easy? Too hard?
| Cool? Uncool?
MURDER2.ZIP 100146 02-02-95 For solo cave explorers this level is not
| overdone in difficulty. There is only one
| Baron and two cacodemons, nothing harder.
| Difficulty levels have been set as well as
| four multi-player start positions and nine
| deathmatch reincarnation spots. For
| deathmatch players, extra weapons have been
| placed. Sorry, no BFG. There are numerous
| sniper spots and hide-aways for those not
| inclined to roam about. Almost all parts of
| the cave are accessible by teleport. This wa
| to preclude lots of passage hunting. Two
| keyed cave gates let the solo player explore
| all the passages before arriving at the exit
| (beyond Double Wells)
MUS_WAD1.ZIP 99096 02-02-95 Music Replacements for DOOM
MUSIC2.ZIP 78895 02-02-95 MUSIC.WAD a collection of truly great music t
| replace the stuff in Doom. (See More Info for
| a complete list of the songs in this WAD.)
MXK_C-11.ZIP 40383 02-02-95 A new Wad (for single-player Doom, feel free
| add other players starts). Good luck, and hav
| a Good Dooming!
MXK_D-11.ZIP 50206 02-02-95 A brand new WAD, for hours of intense DOOMing
| Thanx to the guys who make DEU and BSP, they
| really did a great job! Good luck, and have
| Good Dooming!
MY_1ST.ZIP 65425 02-02-95 Well, the name says it all doesn't it ? I
| couldn't be bothered giving the level a cleve
| name like "The demons bottom" so I just calle
| it "My 1st WAD" 'cos that's what it is. It's
| quite a big level which supports easy, medium
| and hard play skills. It has start points fo
| co-operative and deathmatch play. I got fed
| up with almost every third party level I trie
| comprising entirely of huge high ceilings and
| narrow ledges. They are good but enough is
| enough. I also didn't like the fact that so
| often the textures used by doomers didn't fit
| the walls properly. So with these points in
| mind I created "My 1st WAD" trying to avoid
| doing excessive things just because I could
| and trying to make the whole thing "hang
| together" properly
MYHOUSE1.ZIP 522468 02-02-95 What my house would look like if it was taken
| over by fiends
MYHOUSE3.ZIP 53450 02-02-95 This is a completely blueprint accurate WAD o
| my house. I designed the level so my friends
| who don't have doom can come over to play Doo
| via modem would know the level without having
| to ask me which way to turn all the time. I
| also added a few underground tunnels and
| secret passageways that my house obviously
| doesn't have. There are hidden teleporters,
| detailed furniture, and a couple great hiding
| places. Even though the size of the file is
| large, the level itself is not that big. It
| is because of the furniture. Be sure to chec
| out the fireplace and Bathroom's with moving
| toxic waste!!!
MYWAD.ZIP 23014 02-02-95 This wad file My.wad is my first attempt at
| using doomcad to modify a doom level. This
| level replaces the first level on doom 2 the
| shores of hell. It is a modified level one
| from doom 1. You must have doom 1.2
| registered in order to use this .wad. It wil
| not work with any other version. More wads
| will follow in the future, hopefully
| increasing in complexity as I become more
| familiar with the doomcad program
M_ROHE.ZIP 26041 02-02-95 Walk-through (too young to die) of replica of
| real place design by famous architect. If yo
| don't know the place, you rather shoot some
| sergants (hurt me plenty) or some cacodemons
| (ultra-violence)
M_ROHE2.ZIP 30694 02-02-95 Walk-through (too young to die) of replica of
| real place design by famous architect. If yo
| don't know the place, you rather shoot some
| sergants (hurt me plenty) or some cacodemons
| (ultra-violence)
NASTY.ZIP 22567 02-02-95 A Nasty WAD file for DOOM
NASTY11.ZIP 4769 02-02-95 A nice/nasty deathmatch with the big weapons
| (rocket/plasma) being easy to get to, but
| *VERY* hard to use to any effect (ie. you
| can't see where you're shooting). Lots of
| frags, lots of shooting people in the back
NATHRATH.ZIP 181245 02-02-95 A pack of four levels that can be played
| WITHOUT the use of god mode (well, except whe
| playing "ultra violent"...). Great emphasis
| has been laid on design and sphere
NEMO.ZIP 48988 02-02-95 My first attempt at creating a level.
| Basically an exercise in trying new things,
| but there are some interesting areas. This i
| the first of a continuing series, and in it,
| the player gains access for the first time to
| the subterranean boatyard. Try to get throug
| the whole thing without cheats -- I designed
| it to be possible with a little common sense,
| practice and caution
NEMODM.ZIP 38842 02-02-95 Deathmatch level for Doom 1.666. This level
| fast and furious fun for 2-4 combatants.
| Multiple kill lanes covering each major weapo
| is a feature of NemoDM. *YES* there is a ship
| with masts and a cargo hold Note: There is on
| area which is a great spot for sniping, but
| not easy to find. Look for a U turn hallway
| with metal textures on the walls. Some of
| these walls are passable. Note2: Red pad
| starts the crusher, Blue pad stops it! Have
| fun! Then Feedback!
NETBEAST.ZIP 21601 02-02-95 I have created this WAD file from scratch, ju
| after making about 400 WADs that were messed
| up because I didn't understand exactly how
| things in DEU worked (this means that I used
| DEU 5.0 for this). This level is really
| designed to be played over a network or modem
| because it has all the weapons and lots of
| monsters and traps. If you have an editor,
| such as DEU, please don't look at this file i
| the editor until you gave gotten completely
| stuck, and can't find all the secrets, etc.
| The experiance is better when you don't cheat
| and look at the map. (note: This level shoul
| be used with the REGISTERED VERSION of DOOM)
NETPLAY.ZIP 9193 02-02-95 This is a modified version of DIAMOND that ha
| larger stepping stones. That's it. It makes
| it easier for newbies
NEVER.ZIP 214906 02-02-95 A really cool castle wad. NEVER is a REAL
| challenge in UV. There are some tough secret
| to find, and there are tons of baddies. Deat
| matchers should have a blast as well as
| singles. So what's the description? Get the
| wad and check it out! Compared to other
| 'non-linear' levels, this one is really
| non-linear. It's also pretty well
| inter-connected for DM after all the secrets
| are found. It features the Death Room, a coo
| outside area where you can jump all over the
| place, a multi-leveled maze type thing, and
| the dreaded caco-lair! No stupid switch
| puzzels or death traps. A straight forward
| ass kick'n wad
NEVEREST.ZIP 62558 02-02-95 After quite a lot of late nights, I have
| finished my second level (after ambush.wad).
| This one is bigger... In short, it contains a
| lot of traps, including a few that YOU can se
| up for the enemy, many nice light effects,
| and, if not careful, a rocket-heated race!
NEW21.ZIP 29332 02-02-95 New21 is a external Wad file for Doom registe
| version only. Upon startup, start episode on
| and it will replace the original level one
NEW211.ZIP 21604 02-02-95 This is an Updated Version of My Previous
| Upload Finis.Wad it Just Has A Few More Rooms
NEWBONUS.ZIP 3257 02-02-95 This WAD replaces the existing E1 secret leve
| with a more bonus type level
NEWDAY.ZIP 51556 02-02-95 This is far from my first wad and my testers
| have told me that this is my best. It's
| pretty big with both big open areas and a few
| cramped rooms. It was designed with DEATHMATC
| in mind from the beginning and features light
| switches in some rooms making your presence
| there obvious. The barrels are in places
| which may be nasty in deathmatch, and there
| are lots of interesting angles for attacks
NEWHITS1.ZIP 158780 02-02-95 This is a "Compound Group" of wads. This wil
| give you a ALL NEW, full 8 map Episode 1 Doom
| This will ONLY WORK WITH REG. VERSION!
NEWHITSC.ZIP 197451 02-02-95 NEWHITSC.WAD is a WAD file for DOOM playing.
| It's a blatant rip-off of NEWHITS1.WAD which
| have fiddled around with. Basically I've
| added starting points, ammo, health, and
| what-not. I've also added a secret level
NEWHOCKE.ZIP 13188 02-02-95 A New version of the Doom Hockey Level
NEWLEV.ZIP 386711 02-02-95 This is an entirely new episode for Doom, mad
| up of 8 levels created by people who love to
| play Doom but were getting a little tired of
| the levels included with the game. These are
| not necessarily the best new levels out there
| (and there are a LOT of very good ones
| available right now, with an average of 2 or
| good ones being released every day), but a fe
| of the ones I enjoy playing
NEWMUSIC.ZIP 37733 02-02-95 New Music for e2m1-9 in WAD file
NEWTECHN.ZIP 6802 02-02-95 While fiddling /w deu y'day, i found 2 new
| features that I've never seen in any wad from
| you guys or from id. First, i found one can
| create a sort of solid crystal box, and you
| can walk on top of it w/o any the famous hall
| of mirror effect. Secondly, you can have
| walls that u can see thru, but not shoot thru
| (behaves exactly as regular walls, it block
| sounds too!!)
NEWWAD11.ZIP 209591 02-02-95 New11.wad is a external Wad file for Doom
| register version only. This level has been
| designed with deathmatch and multi-player
| cooperative mode in mind. These modes,
| however, have not been tested. Only single
| player modes have been tested. Enjoy
NGHTMR.ZIP 503585 02-02-95 These are our FIRST levels. They should suit
| even the most DOOMish of players
NGHTMR1.ZIP 41926 02-02-95 This is our FIRST level. It should suit even
| the most DOOMish of players
NICK.ZIP 4980 02-02-95 Great dark tunnels with dark, dark, rooms to
| hide in. Deathmatch only
NIGHT2-0.ZIP 55489 02-02-95 **** Optimised for DEATHMATCH 2.0 **** This
| wad is designed for three to four player
| deathmatch. This Wad has been extensively
| play tested, and has proven to remain
| interesting over long periods of play. It is
| also in strong contention for inclusion in an
| upcoming DooM Tournament to be held in
| Canberra, Australia
NIGHTFAL.ZIP 192954 02-02-95 Night has finally fallen, and all Hell has
| broken loose! You wake up in a pool of blood
| watching your buddy get tortured. You'll put
| an end to that! Watch out as you go outside,
| and collect everything needed to open the las
| door that leads to a safe place to wait for
| sunrise. Some doors are opened by a switches
| test out the machine near the end, and save
| often! The temple of demons is a good place
| to save as well
NIMBLE.ZIP 35921 02-02-95 Not my first level, but the first one that I
| consider playable enough to release. It's a
| smallish outdoor level with lots of catwalks
NINJA.ZIP 41801 02-02-95 Chinese folklore has it that Hell is a maze,
| where one is given a final choice: Red, or
| Black? (Taken from a french comic book
| called: The Mad Monk) Beign a sucker for
| mazes, I really wanted to create a 3d one for
| my favourite PC game. While this is still a
| far cry from a real 3d one (Doom engine
| forbid), being really a two-level maze
| (3-level in one part), it is the closest I
| came to my original vision, which was similar
| to the vision of Hell presented in Hellraiser
| II (a badly acted film that had amazing art
| direction), that of a maze of narrow gallerie
| surrounded by deep, deadly pits full of
| atrocities. The name Ninja refers to what
| state of mind you need to complete this level
| silent, deadly, lurking in shadows high above
| crossing tightropes without a sweat, etc.,
| etc. If you can do this level with a joystick
| then you know you've got a good, precise one!
NIRVANA.ZIP 43996 02-02-95 Emphasis on secrets, traps and size. It help
| to play E1M1 but it's not absolutely
| necessary. If you get 100% first time you
| used the cheat codes (or you're a DAMN fime
| DOOMER!!!) p.s. This level takes loger to
| build with BSP than it does for me to go to
| the bank (200 yards), get money, on to Vicky
| wine (another 200 say) to get some tabs and
| beer. And thats on a 486sx33 8Mb
NITEMARE.ZIP 14427 02-02-95 This patch file is for E1M1. Try it at first
| without the map or any cheats. It's my first
| attempt and hopefully not my last! Have fun!
NITRO1.ZIP 7864 02-02-95 Designed for single player, multiple player o
| Deathmatch modes (has 5 start points). All
| creatures appear in all difficulty levels
NITRO2.ZIP 30872 02-02-95 My Second WAD. Designed for single player,
| multiple player or Deathmatch modes (has 5
| start points). All creatures appear in all
| dificulty levels
NJ_CASTL.ZIP 88518 02-02-95 This level is designed with deathmatch playin
| in mind. There are single and co-operative
| play start points but it is best in deathmatc
| mode. I have not included changes for the
| skill levels 'cos when you play deathmatch al
| the bad guys eventually get wiped out anyway.
| All the areas are accessible right from the
| start and there are lots of weapons ammo and
| medical stuff lying around. The map itself i
| quite simple and most areas are big
NJ_WADS.ZIP 98890 02-02-95 Collection of WADS for Doom
NM0001.ZIP 27897 02-02-95 Cross that bridge, and die! Better take a
| moment and think before you assault that
| bridge, or it may be your last moment
NOCHEAT.ZIP 8163 02-02-95 This is my first PWAD. I dont know why I nam
| it nocheat.wad. This PWAD replaces level
| E2M1. This PWAD was built in DoomCad v4.3.
| There is hardly enough ammo for this PWAD, bu
| you can do it with out the cheat codes
NOFEAR.ZIP 289567 02-02-95 This Doom level was made with Geoff Allan's
| "DoomED - The Real Thing" level editor
NOMERCY.ZIP 17813 02-02-95 This patch file is for E1M1. To designed for
| only deathmatch play. It works best with 3 o
| 4 players but can be played with 2 players.
| All weapons are evenly spaced to insure a goo
| deathmatch
NOMERCY1.ZIP 98010 02-02-95 Hi this is my first time at creating any doom
| levels. Nomercy is excatly what is means.
| Hope you like it any comments would be great.
| Levels E1M1 - E1M3
NOMNLN11.ZIP 10846 02-02-95 Well, this is it! The best DeathMatch arena
| that my twisted mind could contrive. Not ver
| maze-like, but full of spots to hide and
| ambush, this arena is good for any size
| DeathMatch! The central area, known as No
| Man's Land (especially in network games) is
| full of danger, not only from the six sniper
| holes, but from crushing pillars and a
| funky-looking bridge out to the BFG and rocke
| launcher that is guarded from below by Barons
| Imps, and nukage that is, literally,
| irresistable! Dark, ALIENS-like passages
| connect the few rooms, and platforms take you
| up to the sniper areas. But beware! Those i
| No Man's Land can see you quite clearly, due
| to the brilliant and flashing lighting, and
| can defend themselves with some success! I
| have found that experience, suprisingly, does
| little to aid players in this arena! If you
| use your brain, it is easy for a novice to
| take down a pro with some very sneaky traps
NOPANIC.ZIP 26857 02-02-95 The reason it is called DONT PANIC is because
| at first glance it LOOKS more difficult than
| it is..... open the first door and 25 monster
| come crawli'n at ya.... step on the first
| teleporter and wham, you're in the arms of a
| cyberdeamon..... ICK! (There is another reaso
| it is called DONT PANIC too, but you'll find
| that out as you play....)
NOVA.ZIP 30950 02-02-95 NOVA v0.05e A small, dark, forbidding
| deathmatch level for Doom. For maximum
| enjoyment, set gamma to none
NO_REST.ZIP 66703 02-02-95 Seems that the R and R facility on Deimos has
| been overrun by those nasty critters from
| Hell. Your mission is simple: if it moves,
| kill it!
NUCLEAR1.ZIP 79813 02-02-95 This level has a little bit of everything to
| it. Wide-open cavernous areas, hidden
| corridors, good observation / sniper spots,
| numerous nooks and crannies to ambush / be
| ambushed in, and a river of poisoned water.
| The level is built around a nuclear reactor
| core. During multi-player play, the exit
| requires co-operation between two players to
| end the level. This PWAD also features a few
| puzzles / tricks that DO NOT need to be solve
| to complete the level. In fact, there are
| entire areas that do not need to be visited t
| complete the level
NUCLEAR2.ZIP 99014 02-02-95 This level has a little bit of everything to
| it. Wide-open cavernous areas, hidden
| corridors, good observation / sniper spots,
| numerous nooks and crannies to ambush / be
| ambushed in, and a river of poisoned water.
| The level is built around a nuclear reactor
| core. During multi-player play, the exit
| requires co-operation between two players to
| end the level
NUKEIT.ZIP 59849 02-02-95 This is a keeper. NUKEIT was made using DEU
| Editor. I really enjoyed learning this fine
| tool. I'm looking forward for future
| releases. A lot of time was spent aligning
| textures and adding lighting effects
NUKEMIN2.ZIP 728137 02-02-95 Part 2 of Nukemine?
NUKEMINE.ZIP 607027 02-02-95 It appears that there has been an incident on
| Nexus 14. Nexus 14 is a mining planet, which
| basically means its a rock floating in some
| shitty solar system. Nexus 14 is known acros
| the universe for its rich content of Nuke, a
| green substance that makes a great meat
| spread, paint thinner or extra firm hair gel.
| Anyways, the last report from the Nexus 14
| communications centre warned of an attack fro
| creatures released through a time-continuem
| breach (sorry if that's spelled wrong). You
| have been ordered to go in as survelance only
| You are to assess the situation and be out in
| two hours to report to your commanding office
| so that preparations can be made for a counte
| assault. The only problem is, you think your
| tough enough to take on the army of creatures
| yourself. You stupid twit! What makes you
| think that one person could possibly drive of
| an entire army of blood sucking demons from
| Dimension-X? Fine then, go ahead
NUKERAIN.ZIP 81990 02-02-95 After 40 days and 40 nights of nukeage rain,
| the sun has finally appeared. Your mission:
| What do you think? Kick some Demon butt!!
OCTAFRAG.ZIP 13451 02-02-95 This is a DEATHMATCH-only level, designed for
| optimal fragging. Although the level is
| small, the rooms are multiply and redundantly
| connected so it seems larger than it really i
| and the action will always be fast and
| furious. No toxic waste or barrels, so
| suicide wussies have no choice but to duke it
| out 'till the end. This also means that ther
| are no sniper's nests per se; be sure to watc
| your back! Other features are a unique
| central elevator shaft with four random lifts
| as well as a cooperative exit which requires
| at least two players to operare. Happy
| fragging!!
OCTAGON.ZIP 50125 02-02-95 This is an E1M1 replacement pwad. It's textu
| protected against shareware play. Written
| with DEU 5.0 and run past BSP11x.EXE, it
| supports 4 players. This level contains only
| the enemies you might expect to find in an
| E1M1 - Sargeants and Imps. Your only weapons
| are shotguns and a chaingun. Good hunting!
OCTAPIT.ZIP 39866 02-02-95 I made this wad first as a deathmatch then
| decided to add some monsters to the mahem.
| Basically there's a central octagonal room
| with raised surounding platforms. A couple o
| side rooms accessed via teleporters with one
| taking inspiration from Indiana Jones, The
| Last Crusade
OCTFRAG2.ZIP 118903 02-02-95 This is a DEATHMATCH-only level, designed for
| optimal fragging. Although the level is
| small, the rooms are multiply and redundantly
| connected so it seems larger than it really i
| and the action will always be fast and
| furious. No toxic waste or barrels, so
| suicide wussies have no choice but to duke it
| out 'till the end. This also means that ther
| are no sniper's nests per se; be sure to watc
| your back! Other features are a unique
| central elevator shaft with four random lifts
| as well as a cooperative exit which requires
| at least two players to operate. Happy
| fragging!! This modified version is optimized
| for altdeath! No BFG's but all other weapons
| are there. Secrets are not obvious
OCTO.ZIP 5362 02-02-95 Ok, this may be a 'bit' overwhelming, and the
| mechanics may not be that great, but we all
| have to start somewhere!
OCTOBER.ZIP 21628 02-02-95 Deathmatch Deathmatch Deathmatch. This WAD w
| built with deathamtch in mind. No safe place
| to hole up and wait. (I hate it when people
| do that!) Hunt and kill WAD
OFFICE.ZIP 46675 02-02-95 What makes this level so interesting is it's
| 'office'-building highrise design (thus the
| name). There are 5 floors that are nearly
| identical. Each floor has an up and down
| 'elevator' which is actually a teleporter. If
| you didn't know that doom doesn't allow it,
| you'd swear this level has multiple floors!
| This WAD is for those of you who are tired of
| all the huge, complicated, nearly impossible,
| and frustrating levels out there. THIS WAD is
| designed to be FUN. Isn't that what games ar
| all about anyway? EVERY weapon is available,
| sustaining health is available, and every
| enemy makes an appearance!
OHMAN.ZIP 32678 02-02-95 E2M1 :- Oh, Man! This level is pretty
| difficult. I made it and I can't even get
| straight through it! Don't give up! It's
| tough from the very first room, but there IS
| help nearby. This is my FIRST try at making
| WAD and I learned alot doing it
OK.ZIP 13539 02-02-95 This file contains 6 PWADS for DOOM that,
| unless I've missed a bug, are without bugs.
| Intentionally, they are very basic and short.
| They are intended for the beginning DEU user,
| and illustrate some techniques that can be
| used to achieve different effects without too
| much effort. The first is the most basic,
| only two sectors of different heights. After
| that, each is a little different and gives an
| example of a different feature. I would
| personally recommend quickly playing each
| level, and then looking at the PWAD file with
| DEU. There are, intentionally, no enemies,
| since they are quite easy to add and can get
| in the way sometimes
OK2.ZIP 51435 02-02-95 OK.wad is a pure deathmatch level. The leve
| consists of several buildings along either
| side of a street. It was designed to give a
| feel of a hi-tech western gun fight with a
| high "frantic" factor
OPEN.ZIP 15952 02-02-95 I've tried many a deathmatch level, and for t
| most part, I've been dissatisfied. Many of
| the levels I've seen seem too much like
| 'novelty' levels, not of the quality or style
| of id's original maps. When I set out to mak
| this level, I tried to keep in mind the level
| from id, especially E1M1 and E1M5, which are
| my favorites for deathmatch. I also tried to
| keep the level very small and open, while
| always leaving at least two ways out of any
| area. The frags should be quick, but not
| necessarily 'cheap', because you can normally
| get out of any situation in which you may fin
| yourself
OPEN_AIR.ZIP 43445 02-02-95 This is a very large Open-Air level (You need
| about 10 seconds to run along one side with
| SHIFT down) designed for deathmatch with more
| than two players. It has several components
| (a small village, a 'mirkwood', a vantage
| point...). Because it is so big, we decided
| to add some Cyber's... Difficulty settings
| vary the number of them. Try deathmatch with
| difficulty 4/5!!! The level was made for
| tough fighters who don't need any kind of
| technical junk. There is really an exit, but
| not easy to reach. One of you must die often
| enough to find it... The best method to play
| is to write messages (You won't be killed too
| soon to send it. There is enough time.) and
| to arrange a meeting point
OPOST21.ZIP 60801 02-02-95 The government boasts that Outpost 21 is the
| home of scientific research that will benefit
| all humanity. On the surface, Outpost 21
| appears to be a peaceful complex that provide
| its small team of dedicated scientists with
| living quarters, research labs, and
| recreational facilities. However, not even
| the aliens who recently inhabited Outpost 21
| were aware of the dark and dirty secrets that
| lie beneath
ORIGWAD.ZIP 1857 02-02-95 This is an experimental PWAD file for use wit
| DOOM. It is rather simple since I cannot
| generate the nodes structure for anything muc
| more complex than this. This level has been
| generated entirely by hand. No editors were
| used to produce it
ORPHEUS.ZIP 67375 02-02-95 3 levels of descent into hell, It starts off
| fairly nice, and gets more and more sick (so
| am told)
OUTDOORS.ZIP 22561 02-02-95 Deatmatch only wad for Doom 1. The level is
| medium sized circular path outdoors
| surrounding a small indoor circular room that
| contains two crossing halls and all of the
| non-hidden weapons on the level. There are
| plenty of sniper spots in small rooms on the
| outside edge of the circle. (both raised and
| at ground level.) Just pick your favorite
| one, aim at your opponent or at a barrel near
| him, and watch him die!!! (and if he doesn't,
| your both in for 1 hell of a chase.)
OUTLAND.ZIP 44234 02-02-95 Your squad is to beam down to the surface and
| investigate the sudden loss of communication
| lines between UAC and a remote command center
| on the moon Deimos, Enemy activity is
| suspected. Your squad will iminate any enemy
| activity with extreme predjudice.
| Unfortunately, detailed surface maps are
| unavailble due to the sensitive nature of
| company operations
OUTLANDS.ZIP 86369 02-02-95 This is an all new WAD file for Doom that wil
| blow your mind. There's floor switches,
| switches, heaps of secret doors, darkness,
| etc. YOU MUST SEE IT
P2AKILL.ZIP 13157 02-02-95 This is a short, but entertaining, wad to
| replace E1M1. It's a preview for an episode
| that I will post soon. I've named it Preview
| To A Kill because it had the certain
| tackiness that is not present in DOOM. It's
| fun level, IHMO. No bugs, for single, co-op,
| deathmatch. Has skill settings
PAIN.ZIP 4365 02-02-95 .WAD for you people that like hard levels
PANIC.ZIP 41925 02-02-95 Well, here it is. This is an improved versio
| of a level which I made. The first version ha
| some bugs and this is way better! (and bigger
| about 700 vertices!) A lot of blood sweat an
| tears went into this level (especially since
| did it during final exams)
PAR-002C.ZIP 25150 02-02-95 Most deathmatch PWADs I've seen are pretty
| pathetic. They usually consist of a lame
| arena type of set up with weapons / ammo wall
| to wall. Well, not in Tombstone. I've
| recreated (sort of) four square blocks of tha
| infamous western town. No, you aren't Wyatt
| Earp, or even one of his brothers. You are
| just a guy who likes to frag his friends. An
| TombStone DeathMatch makes it fun!
PARADOX.ZIP 24876 02-02-95 So here it is: Paradox, E1M2. Where Showdown
| only included my favorite four of the baddies
| Paradox has them all. (With the exception of
| the bosses.) Also present are some interestin
| plays on the usual constructs. As before, I
| spent exhaustive (No joke there!) man hours
| playing and playing to bring the difficulty t
| just the right point. It CAN BE WON
PARANOID.ZIP 69482 02-02-95 This Wad was made to challange the average an
| above average Doom player. Lots of enemies to
| face, with a couple of surprises along the
| away
PARANOI1.ZIP 42784 02-02-95 This Wad was made to challange the average an
| above average Doom player. Lots of enemies to
| face, with a couple of surprises along the
| away
PARTH11.ZIP 67774 02-02-95 Parthenon was originally a beautiful renditio
| of the structure of the same name in Greece,
| but HoM considerations reduced it to the
| vestige you see in the exact middle of the
| map. (For those interested, the original
| still exists, and if I ever find a way to use
| it, it will appear in it's entirety.) What
| was hoped to be a challenging pwad for
| deathmatches grew into this sprawling series
| of hallways around a large courtyard with a
| few challenging outer rooms
PAT.ZIP 11737 02-02-95 This is a pWAD file of my favourite DMatch
| level E2M8. This is defintely a DMatch level
| - there are few monsters and, as of right now
| no exit. I'm working on getting the exit
| fixed, but as of right now, you have to drop
| out. If you are playing DMatch with two
| players over a modem or an iffy LAN, this lac
| of exit won't be noticed since the game will
| probably lock up before you get to the stage
| where you would want to exit, anyway. <grin>
PAT1.ZIP 59284 02-02-95 You enter the moon base carefully weighing yo
| options, you have none, great. Well all you
| can do is grab your trusty shotgun that lays
| by your side and commence mince-meat making.
| Open the door and let 'er rip, but watch out
| for that.... AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHH!!
PATMAN1.ZIP 53190 02-02-95 This level is not for the heavy-fingered
| Doomer. I'll tell you now that you shouldn't
| play it on Ultra or Nightmare unless you are
| willing to die alot trying to win. I still
| have a little trouble with it, and I WROTE th
| darn thing. It consists basically of a fairl
| complex sector structure, with some
| well-hidden secrets and ALOT of monsters
PEACE.ZIP 20991 02-02-95 A DEATHMATCH ONLY level for professional
| deathmatch players ! It's small and very
| fast. There are all weapons and an exit. Th
| level is based on shadows2, but there is
| almost everything changed. We began to modif
| shadows2.wad for our own purpose only, but th
| result was to good to keep it unpublished (an
| we spent too much time now to rebuild the
| level from scratch)
PEACE_20.ZIP 28448 02-02-95 This is the DEATHMATCH 2.0 release of
| peace.wad. Please play this wad with
| -altdeath only. There are all weapons and an
| exit. Peace.wad was based on shadows2 but
| it's almost everything changed
PEANO.ZIP 52981 02-02-95 A sequence of three areas of increasing
| difficulty. Some puzzles. Fairly hard in
| ultraviolent mode. Note: there is no return
| after teleporting
PEARLJAM.ZIP 58251 02-02-95 It's no secret, DOOMSDAY is a month away. Th
| Final level for 1.2 from this author, Once
| again no fancy story line just a lot of traps
| and secrets and some REALLY hard bits. BTW I
| it seems really impossible, look around there
| IS a way. If you wonder about the names it's
| just the name of the group that's on when I
| finally finish creating a level, if you
| haven't already, get my other level -
| Nirvana.wad
PELLEJOS.ZIP 13180 02-02-95 Another DEATHMATCH level, really fun
| discovering the secret rooms, he he he
PENDPP11.ZIP 11307 02-02-95 You awake with a pounding in your head. A
| voice says "Such an inferior species. Always
| wanting to fight so fight you shall for all
| eternity." This wad was written to give a
| quick & Dirty playing field for deathmatch 2.
| rules. No running through endless empty
| corriders to find your opponent. There are 3
| types of weapons present in this wad. 2
| rocket launchers, 2 plasma guns, & 2 shotguns
| The shotguns are out in the open but the
| rocket launcher's and the plasma guns are eac
| centered in a pool of acid. If ya want the
| power you're going to lose some health. It
| also discourages players from sitting on the
| spot where the powerful weapons will appear
PENTADT.ZIP 17516 02-02-95 A Deathmatch level. Small enough for a fast
| paced 2 player dm. Plenty of hidden triggers
| that you must find
PENTADTH.ZIP 25916 02-02-95 Designed to be a deathmatch only level. Ther
| no monsters in here (add some if you want) so
| single player might get dull real quick. The
| level is kind of large, so a 2 player
| deathmatch might take a while to get
| interesting. There are five main areas
| connected by hallways and passages, with
| barrels scattered throughout (if your lucky
| you will get to use one). Just run around and
| kill your friends!
PENTAGON.ZIP 53338 02-02-95 A great PWAD for DOOM. Almost impossible to
| conquer. Lots of C-Demons
PENTDROM.ZIP 51962 02-02-95 The Pentadrom - 2 phase add on action level f
| the DOOM arcade game
PENTGRAM.ZIP 51810 02-02-95 There's nothing quite as evil as the sign of
| Satan itself. Well, maybe certain farts migh
| be considered more evil. If you haven't done
| so yet, go play HUNTER.WAD
PERI11.ZIP 40867 02-02-95 Nukage nail-biting tunnel system, 'room withi
| a room' puzzle, Blood and guts crushing
| ceiling section. One necessary rising stair,
| Tower and temple. Mysterious catwalk to

| an infamous exchange between Hew-mon Patte
| users
PET.ZIP 60426 02-02-95 Two new levels made with deu v5.0 and the bsp
| v1.0 nodebuilder. They are meant to be playe
| together, so hopefully you will. pet2.wad is
| an easy level for e1m1 we made to give you th
| chain gun and ammo, which is what we want you
| to start pet.wad (e1m2) with. Try not to
| cheat on pet.wad, it took us a flippin' long
| time to write. PLEASE send any questions,
| comments, or SUGGESTIONS to us!!!
PETKILLR.ZIP 61067 02-02-95 PETKILLR.WAD is a pwad for episode 1 mission
| Petkillr is a remake of one of the first
| pwads out, PET.WAD. What's new? A new
| section, multiplayer support, some demos, and
| accurate skill levels. Many of the new pwads
| out are too easy, so what were trying to do i
| start getting skill levels that accurately
| refect their names, so there's something for
| everyone. Thus "Hurt me plenty" actually wil
| (probably alot if you're not good).
| "Ultra-Violence" is nasty (even absurd?) and
| will challenge the best doomers. "I'm too
| young to die" and "Hey, not so rough" are
| still extremely easy though
PHOBOS1.ZIP 24264 02-02-95 These WAD files were used for the first DOOM

PHRAG21A.ZIP 65834 02-02-95 This is a big, complex, challenging, and
| interesting deathmatch wad. Every room has a
| exit! It's not always obvious, but there is
| always at least one way out (and I don't mean
| by dying). I wanted a wad with some new
| scenery. Something to entertain me while I'm
| falling the the ground, grabbing my throat, o
| while I'm frying my opponent with bright blue
| bursts of plasma. Therefore, this wad
| contains *SIX* gray-scale images of *NAKED*
| women. None of that skank stuff, this is
| high-class professional photography. If you
| are offended by this, then DO NOT PLAY IT!
| This level was designed before version 1.4
| came out, so it has an abundance of health an
| ammo. Thus, there is no need for the
| -altdeath argument. Using it will not only
| spoil most of the strategies of the level, bu
| will allow one person (whoever gets there
| first) to dominate the entire game (because
| he/she would never run out of ammo or health,
| and could easily and effectively guard both
| entrances)
PHUCKED.ZIP 25153 02-02-95 My first deathmatch-only pwad which includes
| multi-level building with hexagonal rooms and
| many elevators. Watch out for the trap door!
PIE.ZIP 3974 02-02-95 I got tired of all those levels with n
| cyberdemons, 2n spiders and n^2 barons, so I
| created a little something for *real* Doom
| masters to beat. Go ahead. Punch out those
| cybers. Or find a couple of helpful tricks.
PINA02.ZIP 22107 02-02-95 Teleporters and patterns are the key to this

| Weapons availability You can get every where
| but remember teleporters have 4 sides, this
| means I can send you 4 a different way
| depending which side you use (BIG HINT) good
| luck
PIP.ZIP 21205 02-02-95 Roughly octangonal arena dived into four by
| raised walkway. Designed for Deathmatch 2
| rules really (not much in the way of extra
| ammo or health). There is an exit for those
| who moan about not having one. Each quadrant
| is a little different. Some nice ledges
| around the edge for those who can work out ho
| to get the rocket launcher. Some invisible
| walls for trigger happy rocketeers to blow
| themselves up with. These have items on the
| top too (gettable) for that `shit there's som
| health floating in the air' type experience
PIPE.ZIP 79861 02-02-95 Here is your chance to take a lovely tour of
| the subterranian sewer system that exists to
| fulfil all of Hell's waste disposal needs.
| But what is that coming out of the pipe?! I
| guess it is time to take out the trash!
| Mangle the monsters, clean the sewers out,
| explore horrific ventilation shafts and find
| the pipe that will bring you back to the
| surface. For all of you thrill seekers out
| there, try ULTRAVIOLENCE... You will have a
| little trouble getting down the first pipe,
| but after that it will be smooth sailing, yea
| right!
PIT6.ZIP 10479 02-02-95 Hey I hope you like this new Doom level I
| created using Doomed V 2.6b. I hope you have
| as much fun playing it as I did making it
PITFALL.ZIP 19241 02-02-95 Well, this is my first Doom WAD and personall
| I think it's pretty good. You will find just
| about anything on this level. The only thing
| I left out was the Spider Demon. (Too much o
| a bad ass!!!). Oh, and are there secrets!!!
| I put in ten of them. One is very hinted,
| another isn't really a secret but you have to
| find it before you are killed. (You will see
| what I mean when you play.) The other eight
| you may never find without using "IDDT"!!! I
| even put secret sectors coming from other
| secret sectors (hint, hint.)
PJS01.ZIP 23643 02-02-95 This level was used for testing my DOOM edito
| DOOM Construction Set (DCS) 1.0. It's a
| little small, but I didn't want to spend all
| my time on the level and not the editor!
PJS02.ZIP 48247 02-02-95 This level was used for testing my own DOOM
| editor. I've put a *lot* of time into this
| level to make it very playable, and visually
| appealing
PLAT.ZIP 35356 02-02-95 This level is intented for single and 4 playe
| cooperative play. THIS IS only a BETA
| version. I decided to UL it so I could get
| some feedback on it. My friends around here
| like it, What do you think. Remember, this i
| basically a skeleton copy, If a lot of peopl
| like it, I will go through it and detail it,
| and add a few extra rooms. I have a few new
| wall textures available, but they are not
| included because I haven't figured out how to
| patch PWADs yet
PLAYGND.ZIP 49585 02-02-95 Good for Multiplayer DOOM with lots of spots
| start. Some are good, some are bad, and some
| neither
PLEASURE.ZIP 76847 02-02-95 Welcome to the Pleasure Dome! This is where
| all of the posessed soldiers and sargents com
| to watch those marines die who will not
| succumb to posession by the demons infesting
| the world. This level is like the Roman
| Coloseums of old, except that you are the poo
| slob about to be fed to the beasts. They do
| give you a shotgun to try to duke it out with
| but they don't expect you to last long. They
| just hope that your death will be entertainin
PLUCKY.ZIP 49056 02-02-95 My second attempet at making a Doom level fro
| scratch. Large, Secrect areas. Some puzzles
PNP13.ZIP 12960 02-02-95 Designed for Deathmatch. Each player starts
| off in the center section. Each platform in
| the center section opens a door. There is on
| warp that takes you to the tall pedestal in
| the center section. Deathmatch is much bette
| WITHOUT monsters, so I didn't even include
| them
POISON.ZIP 25394 02-02-95 An environmentalist's nightmare. Mostly toxi
| waste with some other areas to explore.
| (Hint: try to save the radiation suits) This
| is my first (successful) PWAD. Being able to
| navigate through the ooze quickly is a
| valuable asset in this level. I have been
| able to get through the level with the
| radiation suits provided, but don't get
| discouraged if it takes you several tries
POP.ZIP 166476 02-02-95 Pop Music for DOOM. This WAD add's a little
| more modern music into Doom with some tunes
| you no doubt will know and maybe enjoy. The
| music only replaces Episode One at the moment
| maybe Ill do the others if I get some positiv
| feedback
POST11.ZIP 50496 02-02-95 To play, just run the .bat file. Your outpos
| was over-run by monsters! You wait for the
| shuttle by the landing pad but a garbled
| messege hints to you that its going to be a n
| show. You must clear out the post yourself!
| You know that there are two yellow keys to th
| armory and the blue key is to get to the exit
| The red key is to get into the command center
PRED01.ZIP 22049 02-02-95 This level is a highly modified version of th
| original level before i got DEU 5.0. It is
| pretty unrecognisable from the original, so
| you shouldn't find it boring! I've only
| finished the game ONCE on hard mode after
| trying for about 10 games, so you will need t
| save plenty or be GOOD. Don't even THiNK
| about playing it on Nightmare either!
PREDATOR.ZIP 41674 02-02-95 This is the badest DEATH MATCH .WAD Ever to
| hit the Market, There are no Enemies but it
| is real FUN and STICKY! But remember to keep
| that liquid Nitrogen FLOWING if you have less
| than a Pentium 90. Because this wad pushes
| you system to the LIMITS!!
PREDATO1.ZIP 32621 02-02-95 This Wad File was made for Deathmatch only,
| meaning that there are no enemies. If you
| would like to add, modify, or change this
| level in any way feel free to do so under a
| different name than "PREDATOR.WAD". This
| level is packed with secrets, from one-way
| mirrors to secret doors and teleporters
PRIMUS.ZIP 96401 02-02-95 This is my first WAD ever, so it is noticeabl
| lacking some of the more sophisticated
| features like rising staircases etc. I wrote
| it as a learning experience. There are lots
| of monsters, and the play level is moderate.
| There are also a number of secret rooms and n
| shortage of weapons
PRINCTN1.ZIP 82170 02-02-95 This level was built using the actual
| floorplans of part of Wilson College, a dorm
| complex at Princeton University. The design
| features two large courtyards along with many
| of the dark hallways found in the buildings
| here. The dining hall is a particularly
| unpleasant area (both in this wad file and in
| reality.) For those familiar with Princeton,
| the buildings included are Clapp Hall, 1938
| Hall, and Wilcox Hall
PRISON.ZIP 30859 02-02-95 This is another PWAD for DOOM about a prison
| escape where you are trying to get out with
| your friends
PRISON1.ZIP 304452 02-02-95 The Prison Project for DOOM. Find out your w
| of the High Tech prison, deep in the
| wastelands. Including a lot of new sounds,
| some new grafix and tons of fun
PRISON2.ZIP 31859 02-02-95 This was my first serious attempt at building
| level for Doom. It was constructed using
| DooomEd - The Real Thing, and later munged an
| hacked with DoomEd by Renegade Graphics,
| DoomCad, DMapEdit, and DEU. It was,
| incidentally, written to run with the
| shareware version of Doom, becuase I hadn't
| goten my registered copy when I started
| working on it. It is a pretty lame level in
| comparison to the ones in the registered game
| but then, I hadn't seen those when I designed
| it, so I don't feel too bad. It's kind of fun
| just to charge around and kill things, and
| there's plenty of ammo, and all of the weapon
| are in there somewhere. The invulnerability
| sphere in the nukeage pit is for one reason
| only: to survive the secret room behind the
| exit while playing in Ultra-Violence mode
PRIVATE3.ZIP 32169 02-02-95 You made it through the spider demon in Part
| You made it through the infestation of
| CacoDemons in Part II. Now, enter Baron Hell
| This is the level your mother warned ya
| 'bout. You regain consciousness. Darklord
| appears before you yet again, laughing with a
| cackle that sends a shiver down your spine.
| Two down, 7 to go. Hahahahaha!!!!!! "Piss
| off!" you growl and head for the nearest door
| The dimness of the room you are in echo's the
| dimness in your heart. Death is before you.
| Them or you
PROCESSR.ZIP 54562 02-02-95 This used to be the UAC subterrainian toxic
| waste processing plant, until the mishap.
| Things went wrong, so they called your team i
| to clean it up. To think this all started wit
| an early morning waking dream where I
| visualized the area where you start off,
| especially the blue area off to your left
PROTO1.ZIP 20106 02-02-95 This is my very first wad designed to be
| playable at any difficulty level thus avoidin
| the instant death, kill everything in sight
| kind of wads. There are a few traps and
| interesting rooms so give it a shot (no pun)
| and see what you think. This wad replaces
| E2M1 on Doom so it will only work with the
| registered version of Doom!!!!
PSYCH.ZIP 20473 02-02-95 Well, here's the Reed College Psychology
| Building v1.0 for DOOM v1.2 I used DEU5.1 an
| BSP11. There are some bu.. uh, I mean,
| Features in it... Some of the bugs I think
| work pretty well since it IS the psych

RIP7.ZIP 40425 02-02-95 Another deathmatch-only board, this one is a

ROT.ZIP 25325 02-02-95 No stupid story line. Just a good deathmatch
| level for four player net play
ROT_E2M1.ZIP 132207 02-02-95 This pwad REQUIRES v1.666, otherwise some doo
| and lifts will not work!!!
RRWARD01.ZIP 144886 02-02-95 This is a very large file, owing to the detai
| given to the level (lots of linedefs) and the
| shear size of the map. This map is designed
| primarily for single player games, but has
| multi-player starts, and an interesting
| consession for DeathMatch, though the map was
| not designed for DeathMatch. This map took
| over 150 "man-hours" to create, and outgrew
| both DEU v5.0 and DEU v5.1's memory allocatio
| schemes. There are no "step wrong and die"
| traps - If you can get into an area (without
| cheating) you can get out. There are secrets,
| hidden doors and switches galore in this map
RS_OOZI.ZIP 57844 02-02-95 This level is designed to provide lots of
| shooting action (hence the "oozi" pun). Ther
| aren't a lot of puzzles, or secret doors that
| must be found to get to the end. Nor are
| there any "death traps" or rooms with 18
| Cyberdemons. Just steady action. And while
| there are lots of bad guys to kill, an attemp
| was made to keep it realistic and within the
| class of an original Doom level (i.e. this
| isn't just another bunch of monsters and
| weapons and ammo haphazardly strewn about
| every room)
RSE2L3.ZIP 34162 02-02-95 This WAD file was built from scratch using DE
| 5.0. It takes the place of Episode 2 Mission
| 3 (I like the music). The level is really no
| complicated it took me about 20 minutes to
| complete WITHOUT CHEAT CODES! Do yourself a
| favor and complete it without them, it's much
| more fun that way!
RUINS89.ZIP 91410 02-02-95 Blood and lots of it. I meen LOTS! This WAD
| is not for the weak. An ancient and forgotte
| place has now been taken over by some (excuse
| me, ALOT!) of your most favorite baddies.
| Don't be afraid to pull the trigger
RUN666.ZIP 68215 02-02-95 A hunting deathmatch / single player wad,
| designed (deathmatch) to encourage chasing
| your opponent, while posing the risk that
| he/she may turn the tables on you if you
| aren't careful. Single player requires a
| little thought, hopefully not to little
| though, and there are no nasty tricks or
| unsolvable traps. This wad designed for use
| under version 1.666. Has fair amount of ammo
| so you may or may not want to use -altdeath
| for spawning. Difficulty levels fully
| implemented
RUN.ZIP 13895 02-02-95 A replacement for E1M8, MUCH harder
RUNAWAY.ZIP 63273 02-02-95 Named not for any particular theme, more for
| the fact that once I started designing this
| level, I just kind of ran away with sector
| creation, and presto runaway.wad. Has copiou
| weaponry, but still may be pretty hard in UV.
| Not bad for deathmatch, but kind of spread
| out. Lots of different textures lighting and
| room environments, a few tricks and secrets
| and poetic liscence stolen unabashedly from
| id's original levels
RUNLKHEL.ZIP 69378 02-02-95 My first WAD. Designed for single player,
| multiple player or Deathmatch modes, easy,
| medium or hard. Looks much like a Castle,
| complete with moats, dungeons, secret
| passages, temples, and even an open pit mine
| where they obviously got all of that green
| marble (and there is a lot of green marble)
RUNLKHL2.ZIP 83069 02-02-95 The second version of my first WAD. Designed
| for single player, multiple player or
| Deathmatch modes, easy, medium or hard. Look
| much like a Castle, complete with moats,
| dungeons, secret passages, temples, and even
| an open pit mine where they obviously got all
| of that green marble (and there is a lot of
| green marble). I added a section at the end
| which seems to me to be well designed for
| deathmatch, but I didn't get around to puttin
| the deathmatch startpoints there. It is a
| very large wad and could drag at times on
| slower machines. I fixed the problem with th
| first version in the temple where there seeme
| to be invisible walls, it was actually dead
| bodies hanging from the ceiling. You couldn'
| see them but they still blocked your movement
RY11ECR.ZIP 68657 02-02-95 A deathmatch level, designed originally for 2
| player modem, but suitable for 3-4 player
| network and single player. This started as m
| first wad, but went through many hours of
| reworking to look good. Anyway, the central
| area of this level is a reasonable
| representation of where I and my regular
| deathmatch opponnent work in real life, with
| DOOM twist, of course. Outside areas and such
| were added just for fun. We find this a
| constant favorite for long deathmatch duels,
| but that may be due to our familiarity with
| the layout. Hope you find it as much fun.
| Little attention payed to monsters /
| difficulty levels, best played with
| -nomonsters. Please don't flame me about the
| bigdoor2 textures on most doors, I used the
| texture because I hate the other available
| door textures for less that 128 widths. This
| wad designed for use under version 1.666. Ha
| lots of ammo, so you may or may not want to
| use -altdeath for respawning. Then again, if
| you like rocket duels, you might
RYK21.ZIP 22080 02-02-95 Small level with plenty of carnage and secret
RYK22A.ZIP 72290 02-02-95 New version of the level which removes the bu
| that sometimes causes the ceiling in the
| center room to lower and therefore prevents
| the level from being completed. There is
| another bug however, although not as drastic
| (see below). Difficulty levels have also bee
| implemented and on the hard level there are
| some additional monsters. This level is
| primarily a puzzle. I created it with a D&D
| aspect in mind, as much as the DOOM
| environment would allow me. The easy
| difficulty has very few monsters to allow one
| to concentrate on the puzzles. The hard
| difficulty setting has MANY monsters to
| contend with as well, many of them surprise
| ones
RYK22B.ZIP 70154 02-02-95 Version B of the Ryk22 level which recovers
| from the bug created in version A where the
| master button in the maze failed to operate
| the floor in the centre room. The invisible
| wall in the centre (doughnut shaped) room has
| also gone. This level is primarily a puzzle.
| I created it with a D&D aspect in mind, as
| much as the DOOM environment would allow me.
| The easy difficulty has very few monsters to
| allow one to concentrate on the puzzles. The
| hard difficulty setting has MANY monsters to
