SACRFICE.ZIP 375209 02-02-95 This set of 9 episodes attempts to use mature
| levels of sophistication and puzzle solving
| rather than just turning up the volume.
| Children (you know who you are) may be bored.
| Levels increase in complexity, difficulty and
| violence. Definite considerations were given
| to consistency, theme and fairness. Plan to
| die a bit, but to be able to finish with a
| sense of true accomplishment
SACRFIC1.ZIP 324269 02-02-95 This set of 9 episodes attempts to use mature

| sense of true accomplishment
SAGUNTO.ZIP 15987 02-02-95 I'll be trying to fix the huge bug this wad
| has, but i haven't been able to solve the
| problem. The thing is that, from outside the
| castle, there are some strange mirrors if you
| look to the castle, but i dunno
SANDBOX.ZIP 15042 02-02-95 This is a simple, but fast-paced PWAD for Doo
| Meant for DEATHMATCH. Quite boring for single
| play
SANT1.ZIP 101006 02-02-95 A sinister gang of mutants and mercenaries ha
| converted Santa's sub-permafrost toy factory
| to nuclear weapons production. Clear them ou
| so that the world's kids don't wind up with
| Plutonium in their stockings on Christmas
| morning! Highlights include cheerful Holiday
| colors, a 1:1 scale Lionel trainset, a Holida
| MAP greeting from Ziffnet, and a climactic
| battle INSIDE a Christmas tree
SAPIDUS.ZIP 62055 02-02-95 Your mission - infiltrate the UCA enemy base,
| inflict maximal damage, determine the layout,
| and return to the surface for pickup. The
| problem - Unfortunately, the Gateway (the
| trooper transport in orbit above the base)
| will not descend for pickup unless someone
| disables the base's pulse cannon, which is
| very capable of blowing the Gateway out of th
| sky. The solution - Having finally
| infiltrated the major section of UCA base, YO
| must locate the power generator rooms and cut
| off power to the pulse cannon. To insure tha
| the pulse cannon remains crippled, you must
| also disable the main computer brain of the
| base. Only then will the Gateway come and
| rescue you from the hordes of enemies who
| inhabit the base
SAPIDUSB.ZIP 61783 02-02-95 SAPIDUSB - Bugfix version: Level End due to
| Nukeage death removed. Your mission -
| infiltrate the UCA enemy base, inflict maxima
| damage, determine the layout, and return to

SATAN.ZIP 68712 02-02-95 You're trapped in Satan's home turf. He
| watches you as you struggle to find a way out
| and he laughs at all your attempts to escape.
| At every turn, his band of ghoulish fiends tr
| to make your stay as unwelcome as possible.
| And finally, if you live to reach the end, yo
| will confront Satan himself along with all hi
| minions worshipping him at his altar. Can yo
| overcome the onslaught of evil, the
| overwhelming numbers of hellish demons and
| monsters, and Mr. Evil himself: Satan? Come,
| find out for yourself
SAWTIME.ZIP 205439 02-02-95 This file is a pwad containing a new E1M1 lev
| and a patch for the sound. It is a cool level
| to play in deathmatch mode
SBAW.ZIP 22188 02-02-95 Big room free for all with two barons and a
| spider. Take a look at the map, zoom out and
| you'll see a picture (won't tell you what it
| is, but it has six legs and a chaingun)
SC.ZIP 20167 02-02-95 SoftChoice Preliminary .WAD BRAND NEW LEVEL.
| Well, I decided to create a DOOM level out of
| the floorplan of our office. Nothing too
| exiting yet, due to the bugs in DEU, but it
| works
SCANYON.ZIP 42935 02-02-95 Slaughter Canyon. A huge level for DOOM
SCARVES.ZIP 86260 02-02-95 This level does have it's fair share of trick
| and traps, but basically I see them as just
| being new ways of introducing beasties onto
| unsuspecting (or just complacent) players
SCC2.ZIP 36036 02-02-95 SoftChoice II WAD is the second "release" of
| the modified floorplan of Softchoice Corp
| located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The
| board is designed for Deathmatch play as no
| mere mortal would be able to survive this
| board playing by themselves without cheats...
| (Go ahead! Try me!!!)
SCORCHER.ZIP 89750 02-02-95 The Sequel to Wicked.WAD! 2 levels - EPISODE
| MISSIONS 1 and 2. Contains properly aligned
| graphics this time
SCORPIO1.ZIP 44433 02-02-95 You've cleaned up the mess left by the
| Military's secret projects on Phobos and
| Deimos. With this victory, the hellish
| invasion seems have been thwarted.
| Unfortunately, the Military was engaged in
| another project in the vicinity of Mars:
| codenamed Project Scorpio. The goals of the
| project were to acquire samples of alien
| microorganisms that existed in the vacuum of
| space. No significant discoveries are known
| to have been made by this project. However,
| one of the satellites used to scoop samples
| recently passed close to the Martian moons.
| After the Scorpio base recovered the satellit
| for examination, chaos broke out and
| communications with the base cut off. A
| trouble shooter sent to assess the situation
| disappeared. Apparently demons from one of th
| moons stowed away aboard the satellite and
| migrated to the Scorpio base. Your mission i
| to exterminate all of the hellish creatures
| and destroy the satellite
SCOTDOC1.ZIP 68573 02-02-95 This wad makes you think, at the same time
| requires skill at the trigger. A perfect
| combination. There are a few techniques whic
| I have yet to see in other wads, including a
| unique ending. In order to complete this
| level on ultra-violence on your FIRST try wit
| no cheats you must be an extremely experience
| player with a lot of luck. Good Luck
SCOTDOC2.ZIP 35840 02-02-95 My second wad. This is smaller than my first
| one, SCOTDOC1.wad
SCREAM.ZIP 50213 02-02-95 Scream Level "Zork - with a shotgun". This
| level is a little larger and more involved
| than my last level (Daemon2). Scream is
| designed mainly for solo players. I have no
| idea how well it would play on deathmatch or
| co-op. Scream incorporates some rather nasty
| puzzles which you will have to solve to
| complete the level. There are clues and you
| will have to use your eyes and brain as well
| as your trigger finger
SCREAM1.ZIP 13134 02-02-95 Go around killing everything insight, you mus
| battle imps, sergants, soldiers, Barons from
| Hell, the Robo Dudes, and last but not least,
| Spider Demon! (Look for Two Secret Rooms!
| These are good if you're playing Deathmatch
| and you need to hide on your enemy)
SCUMTREK.ZIP 41597 02-02-95 SECURITY TO THE BIDET! Jean Luc is nowhere to
| be seen, the security team was toasted hours
| ago and Deanna Troi has a headache. Just why
| the Enterprise is crawling with Imps and
| Cacodemons, no-one knows. They should be
| aliens with latex on their foreheads and
| noses, but alas, we make do. You are Ensign
| Wesley Crusher - your mother was on planet
| leave when strange things started to happen.
| Data got a life, Lwaxana became a nun, the
| security team came back from planetside
| intact, Worf came out of the closet, Riker
| didn't scam on some babe and Tasha Yar came
| back from the dead again. Ya-know, its the
| little things that give it away. It's gonna
| be a tough day
SDMANS1.ZIP 49272 02-02-95 You accidentally trip over a log in your
| backyard, and when your face splats against
| the ground, you get teleported to the entranc
| of a humongous castle, with guards about to
| spot you. Basically an action / deathmatch /
| puzzle level. However you play it!
SDMATCH.ZIP 5443 02-02-95 Wicked DeathMatch level with tons of guns and
| ammo
SECURITY.ZIP 20356 02-02-95 You are the chief of security for the UAC. Y
| arrive at work early one day to discover that
| your job is in dire jeopardy! The higher-ups
| in the UAC are beefing up security by pulling
| demons strait from a small area in Hell and
| training them to protect their corporation,
| and everyone in it! Save your job! Get to th
| gate to Hell and destroy your problem at the
| source!
SELFDEAD.ZIP 4586 02-02-95 This is a nice little WAD for Episode 1, Map
| It has a few tricky features inside - so try
| to find the exit! It was created with the
| only choice for really good work :
| DE_260B4.ZIP Don't be frustrated - it can be
| solved!
SERENITY.ZIP 416249 02-02-95 This set of 8 levels has been made with the
| word quality in mind. It's Mind here, not
| Muscles! Many days and weeks have gone into
| testing, designing and fine-tuning. Although
| this isn't a hack&kill kind of level, you wil
| get your share of bloody action (especially
| when playing "Ultraviolent"). Some of the
| levels may be a breeze, others may be a real
| pain in the *ss. But remember one thing: YOU
| DON'T HAVE TO USE THE CHEATS!!! There are a
| few very though places, but they can be done.
| When it seems you can't get around them
| without using the cheats, you may be doing it
| the wrong way and/or you may have missed one
| or more (valuable!) hidden rooms (which
| contain power-ups, weapons and/or ammo)
SERPENT.ZIP 62065 02-02-95 Designed specifically for a DEATHMATCH, becau
| it's the only way I like to play DOOM
SEWER.ZIP 14523 02-02-95 Ok-here is my second full scale level- its no
| very long but it is REALLY hard-there are a
| LOT a enemies , and i recommend that you use
| the cheat codes for this level, cuz it's
| really tough. Oh well, anyway, I got the nam
| from the "Sewer" that is in the south west
| area of the level, you'll have to find it in
| order to complete the level
SEWER2.ZIP 67601 02-02-95 You have just killed one of your incarcerator
| in this unholy prison cell that you find
| yourself. Can you make it out of prison and
| through the sewers to the pumping station
| exit? (Oh, one thing to remember. THEY can
| see perfectly in the dark, you can't, so trea
| lightly, and good luck!
SEWERS.ZIP 61144 02-02-95 This is the first level in a new 9 level
| episode. A run through the muck
SEWV12R.ZIP 97505 02-02-95 Once upon a time, you (and your buddy, if
| playing modem) are the only ones who made it
| inside the sewer entrence while the rest of
| the guys are behind and can't get in, so its
| up to you to clean out the sewage and find a
| way to get you out. You will be going throug
| different sewers, from water to sewage to
| getting through lava. (on this one, only the
| water part was complete.) Have fun!
SHADOWS.ZIP 8144 02-02-95 Shooting Shadows of DOOM. DOOM deathmatch WA
| file
SHADOWS2.ZIP 11586 02-02-95 Deathmatch Level
SHADOWS3.ZIP 13174 02-02-95 Shadows III. A professional DEATHMATCH level
| for professional DEATHMATCH players
SHADWAD.ZIP 8058 02-02-95 Shooting Shadows of DOOM. DOOM deathmatch WA
| file. E1M1. PS: This WAD file was made by
| using DoomEd for Windows
SHAFT.ZIP 48949 02-02-95 They say this WAD is one bad mother... You g
| down a deep mine shaft to a network of dark
| underground tunnels with a bunch of other guy
| with guns. Get to work. A deathmatch WAD for
| E2M1, 3 or 4 players suggested
SHAFT22.ZIP 63562 02-02-95 They say this WAD is one bad mother. This is
| bigger, better-organized version of SHAFT.WAD
| Choose your favorite! You go down a deep
| mine shaft to a network of dark underground
| tunnels with a bunch of other guys with guns.
| Get to work. A deathmatch WAD for E2M2, 3 or
| 4 players suggested
SHEPHERD.ZIP 32411 02-02-95 Another WAD File for DOOM
SHERHELL.ZIP 143763 02-02-95 A very nasty variation of E1M1, try it on
| ultraviolence
SHIPROCK.ZIP 38178 02-02-95 This level is a replica of the Rose Pauson
| residence (Shiprock) designed by Frank Lloyd
| Wright. Both floors are accessible, connecte
| by an almost invisible mechanism. To access
| all parts of this level, you must use the
| accompanying DeHackEd patch. Deathmatch
| starts, weapons & an exit are included for
| people who want to play war games inside a
| work of art. Otherwise, it is set up only for
| a one-person walk-through
SHOCK03A.ZIP 8442 02-02-95 Shock is a small 2-player deathmatch level fo
| Id Software's Doom. Inspiration was drawn fro
| CROSS.WAD, and the rest grew from there. For
| registered users of Doom only
SHODOWN.ZIP 11525 02-02-95 Shotgun Showdown Deathmatch
SHOGUN.ZIP 42359 02-02-95 A difficult level but definitely not
| impossible. There are no traps but there are
| plenty of ambush areas. I designed one room
| to be similar to the room with the star in
| E1M9. The only Level Boss included are a few
| Barrons. All weapons except BFG and chainsaw
| are included. Don't rush into a room unless
| you want to die. Use strategy! I would have
| called this Ambush level but the name was
| already used
SHOOTS.ZIP 153099 02-02-95 I think you're gonna like this one. Ladders.
| No, really. A level map with blinking
| indicators. Mayhem. Destruction. Plot twists.
| Air ducts. Vents. Secrets. Suspense
SHOTGLRY.ZIP 4327 02-02-95 Shooting Gallery. This WAD has two rooms: On
| with everything you could want, and the secon
| with a whole bunch of monsters
SHOTGUN.ZIP 3411 02-02-95 Shotgun wad made for deathmatch and deathmatc
| only. Should work best with doom 1.5 or 1.6
SHOW.ZIP 14783 02-02-95 This is a Deathmatch level!
SHOWDOWN.ZIP 21182 02-02-95 A great setting for an action packed
| deathmatch, not too big, not too small.
| Stairs, doors teleporters and lifts. Playabl
| 1 player, needs texture alignment!
SHOWDWN2.ZIP 19131 02-02-95 A total BLAST! Enter a huge room simply
| crammed full of monsters, kill, kill, kill,
| take a break, kill, kill, kill and wonder if
| it will ever end! Cap it off with a true
| showdown between the bosses!
SHOWDWN3.ZIP 12655 02-02-95 Level one is "Showdown" (kinda hot for the
| first level, huh?). All succeeding levels are
| normal... That's it! Good luck and don't
| forget to bring some band aids! (not
| forgetting the deluxe shotgun cleaning kit...
| Oh, and by the way, the weird pulsing blue
| (water texture) on the receiving end of the
| teleporter wasn't intentional, but i thought
| it looked cool so i left it as is
SHRINE.ZIP 102803 02-02-95 This is my last level before DOOM ][. I will
| consider rebuilding this level and "The Final
| Gathering" for DOOM ][ when possible. You
| begin right next door to hell. in a twisted
| chamber used by hell spawn as a portal to the
| humans' realms. You venture beyond the porta
| to find the Shrine. The shrine is a large
| complex that pays tribute to the hell spawn.
| Some what of a cross between an art museum an
| a mausoleum. The tourists and guardians are
| little bit hostile. Can you survive?
SHUTTLE.ZIP 15916 02-02-95 You're a commander of a cargo shuttle. You
| sent your comm officer to the cargo bay to
| check on the cargo handlers. Nothing.
| Without warning, a shotgun armed man bursts
| into the cockpit, and kills your pilot as he
| gets blaster through the chest. You're docke
| to the Epsilon Theta station, and it's time t
| see what's happening
SIEGE05.ZIP 19638 02-02-95 You've agreed upon a site - the "old" remains
| of a castle. Only in this fortress shows
| signs of alien occupation metalic walls, and
| radioactive moat juxtaposed with ancient
| carved lion heads. You scramble to the front
| entrance, knowing that inside lies the
| weapondry you need to quash your opponents.
| The siege is just beginning
SIEGE10.ZIP 28984 02-02-95 You've agreed upon a site - the "old" remains
| of a castle. Only in this fortress shows
| signs of alien occupation-metalic walls, and
| radioactive moat juxtaposed with ancient
| carved lion heads. You scramble to the front
| entrance, knowing that inside lies the
| weapondry you need to quash your opponents.
| Only the castle stands between you and
| victory. The siege is just beginning
SIEGE20.ZIP 28237 02-02-95 A HUGE improvement over Siege 1.0 Your
| mission, whether or not you choose to accept
| it, is to infiltrate the castle and maintain
| control of it. Intelligence suggests a strong
| outside contingent, but no significant defens
| on the inside. Your main obstacle will be
| rival infiltrators. You will NOT be given
| reinforcements
SIMON10.ZIP 35428 02-02-95 Simon10 is at this stage a two mission PWAD
| E1M2 requires you to raise some stepping
| stones to get to the exit. Each stepping
| stone has to be raised 6 times
SIXAREAS.ZIP 80928 02-02-95 A wad based on six separate areas that lead
| from a central room. The entrance to each
| area is marked by a number on the door. The
| level can be best solved by following the
| doors in order. In addition, there are 34 ne
| graphic elements (most in the status bar).
| See if you can find them all
SKYCITY.ZIP 119272 02-02-95 Well, this is my second attempt at a pwad. I
| think this one is a little better than my
| first attempt. SKYCITY is just that - A
| semi-city stuck 1 mile high in the sky. I
| created new textures to simulate the effect.
| It has all new wall textures in it as well as
| a new sky/floor
SLAPME.ZIP 22811 02-02-95 This is my second WAD, the sequel to SPANKME.
| The name has nothing to do with the design,
| but I bet it made you look at this file. It'
| another one of my top deathmatch WADs. I've
| gone for a bit of a castle courtyard theme
| this time. Its a large courtyard with sniper
| points all round. Lots of stairs and
| corridors to run up and down. The best
| weapons and bonuses are in difficult places i
| the open. Its excellent way to give your
| mates a good slapping
SLAYER.ZIP 72535 02-02-95 This is my first "official" wad. The idea
| behind it is a themeless, but varied scenery
| type adventure. I tried to make it scary and
| fun. Also, the area in which the level ends
| is the ground floor of my cabin near Mount
| Lassen
SLTRFEST.ZIP 25964 02-02-95 Intense little PWAD! Play it and find out wh
| I call it Slauterfest! Part of the reason is
| that the monsters are not deaf like they
| should be! The layout is intricately designe
| (I have an appreciation of good architechture
SLTRRAMA.ZIP 37152 02-02-95 You finally get a much needed R&R, after mont
| of leaning up' on Mars. A friend of yours
| suggested an interesting site on Rigel an
| ancient alien city. As you enter the system
| you attempt contact for permission to land,
| but theres no response. You set the coords
| for landing thinking 'maybe theres
| interference, after all I'm still not in
| orbit'. As you descend you still get static,
| you begin to wonder
SLUNT.ZIP 40727 02-02-95 This wad is unique in some ways. It's
| definately a kill fest, and wad designed as
| so. It's basically a very large room with an
| outer circle. Teleports abound, monsters
| abound. Try it as a deathmatch. When the
| monsters run thin, go get some more. There's
| a teleport in a dark area where there's a mes
| 'o monsters, which you can easily summon.
| Just don't get killed. Playing by yourself i
| also possible, the intent being only, to kill
| everything, and to feel good about it. Coop
| will work as well, with the idea being, help
| each other kill the monsters! then go up to
| your partner, and shoot him in the back!
SLY1.ZIP 67192 02-02-95 "Nice room(s)... lotsa space" Seriously, thi
| is my first attempt at creating a level with
| enough room and variety to allow for both
| interesting multi and single player action
SMALL.ZIP 3123 02-02-95 This is just a little wad file I was messing
| around with. I put it out because is has a
| cool secret
SMALL1.ZIP 16049 02-02-95 A small WAD for testing various tech's. Not
| exactly pretty, hard or good, but I still
| think it is interesting. Give it a try
SNAFU.ZIP 22138 02-02-95 Situation Normal All F#@!#@ Up PWAD for DOOM
SNIPE1.ZIP 13144 02-02-95 Deathmatch only wad lots of chasing about and
| handy hiding places, oh and lots of weapons
SNIPE99.ZIP 61821 02-02-95 This level was originally a small deathmatch
| concept, but needed some additions to improve
| playability. This level is moderate in size
| and has been designed for 2 Player Deathmatch
| It also plays well as a one player episode.
| There are a few hidden doors, but they should
| be easy to spot. Two teleporters. A hidden
| exit, but it is revealed fairly easily.
| Monsters are copious in UV, and there is a
| spiderdemon. Not too tough to get though,
| because of the location. View the .lmp to se
| basically the entire level in UV. (Apologize
| for my performance as I only had the keyboard
| at the time) (doom -playdemo sniper99 -file
| sniper99.wad)
SNIPER.ZIP 32865 02-02-95 Designed for 2 player deathmatch and single
| player, a mid-sized level with a few tricks
| and secret doors. Employed the use of rising
| staircase and crushing ceiling. Essentially
| you are confronted with a bunch of mutants
| shooting at you from above and behind. There
| are a few intersting surprises that will leav
| you wondering if the next ambush will come
| from the next room or one you just left.
| Strategic use of the shotgun and barrels will
| aid you. If you discover a secret door (near
| the start, hint, hint) without disturbing the
| wrong monsters, you will be treated with the
| opportunity to blast a bastard out a narrow
| window, from behind. Very satisfying
SNUFFS.ZIP 14203 02-02-95 This wad has a couple of rooms connected with
| dark corridors. The difficulty levels
| determine the weapons available: BFG only
| present in the medium level
SOFTHELL.ZIP 43421 02-02-95 It's happened. SoftChoice Corporation's faca
| has been broken and revealed to be the true
| hell that it really is (THIS IS A JOKE
| DAVE!!!) Watch out for the CyberLord. There'
| ALOT of room for him to walk around in, so
| look out for him once you "activate" him. If
| you've played SCC2.WAD, you already know this
| WAD is HUGE!!! Check this one out. The same
| thing, just better textures (I think), more
| secrets. Just check it out
SORROW.ZIP 60259 02-02-95 The first mission of The Shores of Hell, (not
| Knee deep in the dead), will be Sorrow instea
| of the normal one
SPACE.ZIP 74509 02-02-95 DeathMatch on a mini Space Station!
SPACED.ZIP 73209 02-02-95 Your Space Frigate is attacked and disabled a
| you are the only survivor of your crew (unles
| your playing coop). The bad guys are
| teleporting aboard whats left of your ship an
| your only chance is to grab your weapons and
| teleport down the nearest planet (which
| happens to also be infested with baddies)
SPACELAB.ZIP 129928 02-02-95 This is a DEATHMATCH 2.0 pwad. Please play
| this wad with -altdeath only. You will lack
| the necessary ammo with origional deathmatch
| rules. All weapons are accessable and a
| COOPERATIVE exit is included. Monsters: CYBE
| Just to keep you on the move. Plus, a couple
| of barons for you to wave at as you go by!
| For BEST results, Play ultra-violence with
| respawn switched ON!
SPACELA1.ZIP 131222 02-02-95 This is a DEATHMATCH 2.0 pwad. Please play

SPACESHP.ZIP 92813 02-02-95 This is a level for E1L1 made like a space sh
SPANKME.ZIP 16044 02-02-95 This patch file is for E1M1. This level is
| signed for DEATHMATCH. There are some
| monsters if you want them. There is thing
| very fancy about this level, its just good
| clean fraggin' fun
SPAZ.ZIP 23742 02-02-95 2 large rooms, platforms, perches. Deathmatc
SPCHAUNT.ZIP 89322 02-02-95 You have just found a derelict space ship
| orbiting a planet. The crew is missing or ha
| been transformed; there are just zombies
| roaming all parts of the ship, the bridge, th
| holosuite, the transporter room, the engine
| rooms, and the empty shuttle bay. There are
| also various floating creatures haunting the
| ship and outside in space. A small
| shuttlecraft, also abandoned, is near the
| ship. On the planet, you find only unearthly
| creatures stalking through abandoned ruins.
| Thus you get to battle in the vast reaches of
| outer space and the sometimes cramped areas

| *want* the rocket launcher or the BFG9000
SPEEDOOM.ZIP 5643 02-02-95 This is a small (3K) deathmatch level that
| allows no player to have and advantage. The
| arena idea came from the game paintball that
| has an arena game called speedball that is
| based on the same idea. If you like small
| deathmatch levels that let you strut your
| stuff, this is the level for you
SPERM.ZIP 225578 02-02-95 This is for the experienced player. If you a

SPIDER.ZIP 172247 02-02-95 Spider contains one mission, features loads o

SPILLWAY.ZIP 76124 02-02-95 Large map, plenty of secrets & NUKAGE!
| Replaces episode 3 level 1 just because I
| liked the sky texture in that episode. LMP
| included (played on skill level 3). To view
| place SPILLWAY.WAD & SPILLWAY.LMP into your
| DOOM directory
SPIRAL.ZIP 30528 02-02-95 Here's my very first complete original level
| ever. It's episode 2 level 1. It was created
| using DEU 5.0, and the bsp11x nodes-builder.
| It has only had a few hours of play-testing.
| These days I think deathmatch is the only gam
| to play, and I think this level is a lot of
| fun in a deathmatch
SPIRAL1.ZIP 25971 02-02-95 Very Chaotic WAD. Tough but can be done
SPIRAL2.ZIP 40454 02-02-95 A perversion of doom episode one, mission two
| Rooms have been added and joined to make for
| an excellent deathmatch game. Friends and I
| have spent three hours straight on this one
| floor. Plenty of places to sneak up on your
| friends, or enemies depending on how you see
| it. Its O.K. to sing "Roll out the barrel" a
| the beginning of this game. caution : do not
| play if you have a heart condition
SPIT.ZIP 16534 02-02-95 A small complex near a volcano. There is als

SPIT2.ZIP 94457 02-02-95 SPIT.WAD v1.0 - A new episode for DOOM with 9

SPOON.ZIP 31637 02-02-95 You ain't seen nothing like it! It's big, it

| infection of Wellspring, by the evil minions
| of Satan has resulted in the seizure of the
| pumping plant. The plant's water and power
| are being used to clone members of the hoard.
| Now the colony is without life sustaining
| water and the evil side is polluting the only
| source of water in this sector. Your mission

SPUNK.ZIP 27202 02-02-95 PWAD-file, containing an entirely new map for

| especially for deathmatch-play; there's no
| exit, so you have to play till you drop!
| Especially -respawn is fun!
SR21.ZIP 22192 02-02-95 Here is yet another new level for DOOM. If
| you're like me there can never be enough new
| levels. It is a brand new level that I made
| with DEU 5.0 which is a fantastic editor.
| This is the second distribution of this level
| The first one had a few bugs in it that
| caused the x-ray vision problem with several
| of the linedefs. I used the BSP program to
| eliminate these, so now this level is clean.
| Since this is a new map for E2L1 it will only
| work with the registered version. I would
| have made it a larger level, but the x-ray
| vision problem pissed me off so I cut it shor
| to start on another new level
SR21A.ZIP 23502 02-02-95 Yet another new level for Doom. A brand new

SS-E1L2.ZIP 56773 02-02-95 A WAD file for level 2 episode 1
SS-E2-M1.ZIP 114900 02-02-95 During a routine mission to the Federation

| taken over by a evil race of aliens. To your
| surprise, they look much like the Hellspawn
| from your own world's past. As captain of
| your Starship you must protect the safety of
| the Federation, and of course your Starship!!
| So grab that pistol and go get 'em!!!
SS27BET2.ZIP 140401 02-02-95 This replaces SS27BETA.WAD which had a few
| crucial stuffups preventing 100% kills etc.
| sorry. Ok, ok.. this isn't finished coz deu
| won't handle files of arbitrary size (yet).
| thought it would be fun nevertheless so here
| goes. This s'possed to be a level with 4
| arenas in each major direction. Each arena
| will have a theme when I finish this (Fire /
| Acid / Earth / Stealth). At the moment the
| central sections is done and the arenas are
| sorta stubbed. This level will be part of an
| eposode later. It is meant to replace e2m7 s
| its pretty rough in places (even on the
| easiest level)
STADIUM.ZIP 72725 02-02-95 An alteration on doom episode 1, mission 4.
| Full of unpleasant surprises. Contains spider
| demon and cyber demon. Need to find all thre
| keys to finish game. Brut force is not the
| only thing that will get you through this,
| you'll need your brain too. Big outside
| courtyard with substantial stairway. Contain
| tightrope walk over lava. I spent a good par
| of my life on this one. You'll need to know
| how to run to complete this
STAIRS.ZIP 40681 02-02-95 This wad was created with a (slightly
| customized) version of DEU 5.0/5.1, and the
| final level was compiled with BSP. It
| features some nice looks and some moderately
| difficult secrets. This WAD replace E1M1 but
| you are free to use it as whatever level you
| like. It is fun as single player, not all
| THAT hard, and was designed with an eye for
| DEATHMATCH play. As such, all weapons are
| present, as well as a lot of "goodies"
STAIRWAR.ZIP 28075 02-02-95 A single room map, with all of the weapons, a
| tons of ammo, and a whole horde of monsters.
| A pretty big challenge for a player to finish
| (the beginning is pretty rough) in a
| single-player game, but I can do it, so you
| should be able to as well!. I've never tried
| it with > 2 players... It's kind slow with
| multiple players until you kill off most of
| the monsters, and then the speed improves
| (this is on 486-66 Mhz machines with 128Kb
| cache) The theme: The world's longest marble
| staircase!
STAIRWAY.ZIP 72689 02-02-95 An alteration on doom episode 1, mission 4.

STAR_B_Q.ZIP 144766 02-02-95 You're invited to a cookout. But this ain't
| picnic! Prepare to fry some demonic butt as
| you claw your way out of the Star Chamber to
| find out what lies beyond. But keep an eye o
| your back, or you may be next on the spit!
| This is one of those infamous "first WAD"
| attempts. As such it includes the usual
| hodge-podge of every idea the author ever
| thought of regarding a DOOM level. Yes, most
| anything regarding theme and consistency has
| been tossed carelessly over the edge of the
| abyss, with a spicy mixture of nifty puzzles,
| neat gizmos and cool structures proudly takin
| their place. It ain't French cookin', but it
| oughta satisfy a hungry Doomer for a meal or
| two. Watch for the baron's BBQ...and there's
| some fairly amazing graphic textures at the
| end...if you can make it that far
STARBASE.ZIP 139894 02-02-95 A "different" DeathMatch level. This level i

STARDETH.ZIP 21746 02-02-95 A huge Deathmatch play level with a few nasti

STARDOWN.ZIP 38788 02-02-95 Try it out. Not tested for multi-player
STARSHP1.ZIP 77367 02-02-95 After a routine period of diplomatic

STARWAR1.ZIP 114913 02-02-95 The DEATH STAR!!! Based on blueprints of a s
| built for the movie and as well as informatio
| contained in the SW RPG. This level includes
| the chasm Luke and Leia swang across, the
| elevators Luke, Han, and Chewie entered on
| their way to the detention level (sorry, thes
| don't work, I ran out of sectors), and the
| large corridor with the blast doors. The
| blueprints covered 1/6 of the level, so I ha
| to make up the rest. This is probably the
| first of many Star Wars levels I will do, and
| I will eventually replace this level's
| textures with my own
STARWAR2.ZIP 307632 02-02-95 The DEATH STAR!!! Based on blueprints of a s
| built for the movie and as well as informatio
| contained in the SW RPG. These are the first
| of many Star Wars levels I will do, and I wil
| eventually replace these levels' textures wit
| my own. Doors needing keys aren't marked by
| colors primarily because I wanted the levels
| to look as much like Death Star as possible.
| If the game runs to slowly, just run an easie
| setting to limit the number of monsters (they
| slow down slower machines). This isn't as ba
| as it used to be now that I've used a reject
| compiler
STARWAR4.ZIP 899581 02-02-95 STAR WARS DOOM!!! Based on blueprints of set
| built for the movie and as well as informatio
| contained in the SW RPG. These are four of
| many Star Wars levels I am hoping to do, and
| have replaced some of these levels' textures
| with my own. I will be replacing MANY more o
| these in the next edition. Any switches foun
| in turbolifts are endlevel switches. Doors
| needing keys aren't marked by colors primaril

STEELS.ZIP 18435 02-02-95 This small wad is mainly ment for Deathmatch
| play, but it can be played as a one-player
| game too. Note that there is no exit in
| multi-player game
STEPPER.ZIP 70540 02-02-95 As you gather your senses, you look around to
| see that you are in a small courtyard. You
| can see the exit, it is only a few yards away
| You move towards the door only to find that
| there is some type of a force field preventin
| you from getting there. There must be some

| You make your way down deeper, deeper into th

STEWBETA.ZIP 37300 02-02-95 This file was especially made for you

STJOHNS.ZIP 98948 02-02-95 This is a (fairly) topologically accurate map
| of St John's College, Cambridge.
| Architecturally speaking its fairly reasonabl
| too (at least I think so). Contains no
| altered bitmaps, textures, sprites or sounds.
| Extensively play tested, designed primarily
| for deathmatch but single player is ok. A
| co-operative ending is required (2 players in
| co-operation) for a net game
STOLEN.ZIP 20247 02-02-95 This is a nice deathmatch level. It is
| relatively small. There are 8 transporters.
| The switch to end the level is hidden. There
| are only 3 extra
STONES.ZIP 38120 02-02-95 Yet another WAD file designed completely from
| scratch. Designed with DEU 5.0, this WAD has
| some interesting rooms and traps. Enjoy!
| This replaces E1M1 (Episode 1 Mission 1) and
| requires the Registered Doom installation.
| Note: The level will work with v1.1 of Doom,
| however, I do not know the consequences of
| such actions
STORAGE.ZIP 59906 02-02-95 Somewhat moody; subdued lighting. A storeroo
| full of scattered boxes and monsters for a

STRANGE.ZIP 12809 02-02-95 This wad is for the secret level in episode 2
| Someone suggested I call it "King of the
| Hill", for reasons that will soon be parent.
| It's tough on Ultra-Violence level but not
| unfair, frustrating or beatable
STREAM.ZIP 13722 02-02-95 Designed to be a deathmatch only level. Ther
| are no monsters in here (add some if you want
| so single player might get dull real quick).
| This is not a very big level, well actually
| it's quite small but should be fun and fast
| paced. Just run around and kill your friends
STRENGTH.ZIP 20055 02-02-95 Welcome to Training Level 1. You have just
| arrived at the new training base and have bee
| assigned a light test to see how you fare in

| This test will NOT be easy, but with a little
| strength, you should survive
STRIPPER.ZIP 15989 02-02-95 No there are no strippers in this wad, but I
| got you to look at this, didn't I? As long a
| you got this far, you might as well play it.
| It works best as a deathmatch wad, but it's
| playable as a single player as well
STRMSTR.ZIP 29806 02-02-95 Nothing terriblely scarey, just a few barons,

SURMONT.ZIP 354001 02-02-95 X-Rated This wad may be considered X-rated b

| wad. This was my home and horse farm until a
| UAC C147 attempting to land at Dulles Airport

| happened but apparently the C147 was carrying
| Toxic waste from the Spawning Pits which upon
| landing on my land began mutating all the

SURPRISE.ZIP 178394 02-02-95 Yes, there is a reason for this slaughter: Y
| are part of an expedition to explore distant

| Good old earth is pretty rundown, so humanity
| needs a new place to stay. When your ship
| took of, the crew put you and five of your
| collegues into some sort of freezing chamber,
| so you wouldn't use up all the air, food and
| water. They were supposed to wake you up onc
| the ship had reached an orbit. You wake up,
| eyes closed. Slowly you begin to remember wh
| and where you are. But you can't move yet.
| You wait for the medics to take you out of th

| feel better. You wait. Nothing happens. No
| medics
SURREAL1.ZIP 201298 02-02-95 Surreal1.wad is designed to look and feel
| different from a standard ID wad. It includes
| a 360 night time sky with clouds and moons,
| waterfalls you can hear, a trap you can
| "defuse", a highway, and other even cooler
| stuff. This is a PWAD only and requires no
| changes to the Doom exe
SURVIVAL.ZIP 44975 02-02-95 First attempt at creating a new level from
| scratch. It has lots of rooms, stairways,
| corridoors, traps, and oodles of monsters!
SW-E1L1.ZIP 43344 02-02-95 These two .wad files were made simply to view
| fantastic battles in the courtyard of Episode
| 1, Level 1. They were created from the .wad
| file of the registered version 1.2 of DOOM.
| batch file is included (SW.BAT) that contains
| all of the needed command-line parameters
| except the .wad name. Unarj the files into
| your DOOM directory. Type "SW SW1.WAD" or "S
| SW2.WAD" to start DOOM and include the edited
| E1L1 file. Then, inside the game, type
| "IDDQD" to turn on GOD mode, run over to the
| courtyard window, fire a few shots to rile up
| the crowd, and then watch all the fun!
SWARM.ZIP 16038 02-02-95 Figured out why I called it 'SWARM'? You
| will....(heh!)
SWAUDIO.ZIP 656402 02-02-95 Starwars Sound Replacement. Created
| Specifically for use with the SWGFX Patches!
| Here is yet ANOTHER updated SWSFX file. This
| is THE final one! I have changed a few sounds
| around, which has improved the overall effect
| If you like/use any of the SWGFX files, this
| is a must!!! All sounds coincide with the
| replaced graphics!
SWEET.ZIP 11511 02-02-95 Short and sweet. Watch your back! Conserve
| rockets. Started as tutor level, and grew.
| May need tweaking. Will improve / add to it
| as time permits
SWEET20.ZIP 78387 02-02-95 Watch your back! I don't think ID intended y
| to think a lot when playing DOOM, so what
| little secret there is simple to find.
| Started as tutor level, and grew. May need
| tweaking. Will improve/add to it as time
| permits
SWETDETH.ZIP 20857 02-02-95 Made specifically for death match so that is
| where the most enjoyment will be had from thi
| wad. There are some really nice sniper
| points, and sneaky spots to nail your foe
| from. There is one area which has been tagge
| as a secret, it's a really great sniper point
| so find it. This is by far the best
| deathmatch wad we have played so far(and
| believe me, we've tried a lot of them), so
| have fun. Warm up on the monsters, then toas
| your friends!
SWIG1.ZIP 28395 02-02-95 This level consists of four rooms connected
| with some dark hallways. The lighted areas
| tend to be quite bright, and the dark areas
| are pitch black. This was done to facillitate
| ambushes. When you begin, and each time you
| die, you will have 50 rockets, 50 shotgun
| shells, and the blue armor. What you will no
| have is the weapons to use them. The weapons
| are placed in the various rooms, and the more
| destructive the weapon, the more difficult it
| is to reach. There's even a plasma rifle for
| the daring. There's only a few monsters, and
| I recomend using the respawn option because i
| keeps you from sitting in one place forever.
| Not to mention it keeps a few shotguns laying
| around which can be very handy
SWITCHES.ZIP 39294 02-02-95 Just shoot every monster and try to find the
| right switch to bring down the red key in the
| yard. Elsewhere, look for secret rooms /
| passages. There are few of them
SWMUSFX2.ZIP 948555 02-02-95 Star Wars DOOM! v2.0 I managed to scrape up
| some more Star Wars music so now each mission
| has different music, except the music for e1m
| is the same as the music for e2m1 etc. The
| music is repeated in each episode but there i
| now the addition of music at the end of
| episodes as well as in between missions. Of
| course, there is still the PWAD full of Star
| Wars sounds
SWMUSFX3.ZIP 1029271 02-02-95 Star Wars Music and Sound Effects Replacement
| PWAD v0.3 Well, here it is! The third swmusf
| wad! Some of you may prefer swmusfx2.wad to
| this one but for those of you who were longin
| for variety, get this one. Although there ar
| still about 2 or 3 levels that are the same
| (e1m7 is the same as e2m6 i believe), it is
| not nearly as noticable and there is a lot
| more variety. I have run out of Star Wars
| .MID files as I have exhausted xwingmid which
| is the reason for the 2 or 3 repeated songs.
| If you have any other Star Wars files you wis
| to see in swmusfx4.wad, feel free to send the
| to me or to give me the name of the site they
| are on and I'll be sure to look at them!
SWMUSFX4.ZIP 1073780 02-02-95 For those who have used swmusfx2 or swmusfx3,
| this contains some new sounds that correspond
| to the various graphics patches that have bee
| released. For the Imperial Guard graphics
| replacements, I had trouble finding sounds so
| I just inserted a blank VOC. They don't
| strike me as the type to say much anyway. I
| also took some of the music from Tie Fighter
| (Thanks for the help with that Force!) and
| replaced 10 levels with music from the game.
| Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new sounds and
| music!
SWMUSIC.ZIP 131193 02-02-95 This Is a PWAD file that contains ONLY the St

SWORD.ZIP 54522 02-02-95 As in the ancient story of Damocles, member o
| the court of Dionysius II of Sicily, the
| threat of danger lurks around every corner.
| Beware the sword of Damocles that dangles by
| single hair above your head!
SYMBOLIC.ZIP 39640 02-02-95 I tried to make this wad playable for everyon
| easy to hard levels (not impossible), no
| places to get indefinately trapped, all
| textures match up, theres one place where
| there are switches but aren't shown as
| switches, this is intentional (they're in an
| obvious location though)
SYS.ZIP 35979 02-02-95 S.Y.S is a pwad file for the registered versi
| of DOOM from ID Software. To play S.Y.S.,
| first copy sys.wad and sys.bat to your DOOM
| directory
T2MUS.ZIP 5117 02-02-95 This is the T2 music file for DOOM
T3.ZIP 4946 02-02-95 Ridiciously small Deatmatch-level. TTL (Time
| to Live) is no more than 10 seconds. OK with
| 2 players, mayhem with 3, total chaos with 4.
| Players respawn in isolated compartments, and
| drop down through chutes into the playing
| field. This WAD is very simple, but the fast
| pacing makes it worth quite a few hours of
| play, and gives you quite an adrenaline rush
T4.ZIP 32565 02-02-95 This is a level which is fairly difficult
| monsterwise, so you cannot be a beginner, and
| yet the seasoned player will find it boring.
| This is a level for the mediocre player. The
| level DOES support the difficulty levels (to
| degree) so do whatever. To run the
| level....copy it to your DOOM directory, and
| type: DOOM -file T4.WAD this will load DOOM i
| the usual format.....just select new game on
| level one episode one..and begin!!!
TAAWTS.ZIP 109597 02-02-95 2 levels, plenty of ammo & power-ups (You'll
| need em), many puzzles, lots of new tricks,
| not for the squeamish. Designed for two
| players but OK with one or three. Simple
| hints - TAAWTS and - Have you hugged your
| CYBER today
TALLON.ZIP 39024 02-02-95 I enjoy doom and figured I'd attempt to creat
| a little wad. This wad was created to play
| with my friends coop or deathmatch. We
| enjoyed it in that it is challenging alone or
| with several people. Have fun
TALPOIDA.ZIP 55067 02-02-95 Months after the event, an excavation crew
| working in the destroyed enemy Uca Base
| recovered a portable log recorder near the
| former site of an enemy pulse laser cannon.
| The recorder was not badly damaged and easily
| salvageable. C-Lab's data retrieval revealed
| the recorder had belonged to a member of Red
| Squad, Register Number RX2432-9 (MIA). Only
| one log entry was recorded
TANGWIN.ZIP 2308 02-02-95 This is a non-playable test wad to show how t
| do a window similar to the window at the
| opening of Episode 2, Mission 1 but without
| any sides visible outside of the window.
| There is only one sector and no exit switch.
| This provides a way for a wad creator to show
| an outside without necessarily having to buil
| a huge courtyard just to have an outside
| visible. This is a much better looking
| outside "window" than other people have done
TARGET.ZIP 24227 02-02-95 I don't know really its just based on a commo
| circular courtyard that looks like a target
| from above
TECHBASE.ZIP 24546 02-02-95 After the "Doom" incident an interplanetary w
| was sparked between the Humans and the
| creatures from Hell. You were sent on a
| mission to a major enemy military installatio
| to gather intelligence, but you were captured
| Sl`Tek Kor, Commander of the 121st Infantry
| (also a spider daemon), found you lurking
| around and imprisioned you, but not before yo
| were able to find out that a major weapons
| shipment is about to take place
TECHNOID.ZIP 44522 02-02-95 Mutant TechNoids (Technical Nerds) have
| invaded. Your mission is to eradicate and
| escape. Lot's of hard to find doors and
| timing puzzles to solve
TECHTEMP.ZIP 32194 02-02-95 You are a special forces commando ordered to
| UAC's Neural Research Facility where they wer
| using human cells to control some computers
| that were replicating DNA. One of the chips
| with the human brain cells malfunctioned and
| the cells within replicated horrible monsters
| from the DNA replicators. Soon after, the
| guards destroyed the chip but the damage was
| done. You are to go there and kill all the
| monsters. Watch out, because the place was
| evacuated so quickly that the intruder alarm
| neutralizer was left on. The monsters have
| reportably entered an old cult temple that wa
| located next to the research center. You
| should only leave once all the monsters are
| destroyed
TEK.ZIP 37188 02-02-95 This was originally just a setup for a
| Deathmacth level for myself and my murder
| happy friends. I tried to add in some
| non-deatmatch componenets to make it more
| playable, however. The basis for this level
| is that it's a portiuon of my school's campus
| (Georgia Tech)
TELEFRAG.ZIP 6491 02-02-95 A unique deathmatch wad for Doom. Move forwa
| to teleport to the right, move backwards to
| teleport left. This file is a Blast! 2
| players is fun, but it really shines with 3 o
| 4. Constant movement is the key
TEMPLE.ZIP 60258 02-02-95 You are entering the big temple of DOOM. I
| have build a big temple room, and other rooms
| to build a DOOM level. I've tested it in
| 'Heart Me Plenty' diff. setting, but I know
| where are the monsters, so it's difficult to
| see if the difficulty levels are correctly
| set. If not, I think they are more difficult
| than the ID ones. I have just put 4
| deathmatch starts and 4 players starts, but I
| can't say if TEMPLE.WAD is a good multi-playe
| level
TEMPLE11.ZIP 58282 02-02-95 TEMPLE11.WAD is a new WAD file for (registere
| DOOM. It's not a large level, but it's trick
| (grin). This WAD is intended for those who
| like panic situations but dislike Oh! Another
| 247 cacodemons in this room. Ho hum! Now le
| me see, if I flip the third, fourteenth and
| 182nd switches, then shoot these three walls,
| then the door might open, type situations. I
| wrote this to see what new traps and ideas I
| could come up with
TEMPLE_2.ZIP 63707 02-02-95 You are entering the big temple of DOOM. Thi
| is the second and last version of TEMPLE.
| After some reviews, I changed some rooms,
| added some others
TESC1_2.ZIP 35504 02-02-95 Here it is! The first compleate wad based on
| The Evergreen State College's campus. It's
| twice the size of the original release and a
| lot more detailed. It also has fully
| implemented difficulty levels and network pla
| capabilities. I know a lot of the texture,
| especially doors, are not quite right but I
| don't really feel like spending the several
| hours it would take to tweak them around.
| This level is made for e2l1 and is based on
| our library building. In case you are
| familure with the campus the level is meant t
| travel from the first floor to the basement
| and then up to the second floor
TEST2KIL.ZIP 186904 02-02-95 Your orders are to infiltrate and destroy
| Saten's inner-city training fortress. All of
| Saten's forces are trained here. As you make
| your way from the watch tower to each buildin
| you will not only encounter some training in
| progress but might actually find yourself
| going through some of Saten's tests. Keep a
| watchful eye for the exit code. You need it
| to exit alive!! Remember that things are not
| always what they seem and if a situation seem
| calm then you're in for a big suprise
TEST2KI1.ZIP 141708 02-02-95 Your orders are to infiltrate and destroy

TEUTIC.ZIP 671690 02-02-95 The Evil Unleashed, new episode. You need
| v1.666 to play this!!!
TFW1.ZIP 31519 02-02-95 The Floppy Wizard 1. This level is very
| strange! Total Remake of E1M1. This level is
| huge
TGMO2.ZIP 31819 02-02-95 I'm experimenting a lot with textures and
| shadows. I also like BIG rooms
THE-GRID.ZIP 68450 02-02-95 Specifically designed 4 player deathmatch lev
| (Fun single player too). Lotsa nooks and
| crannies
THE-KEEP.ZIP 40641 02-02-95 The Keep is a revision of my Castle.wad. I
| renamed it due to a previous wad with the sam
| name by someone else. Due to many interestin
| comments, I have added more windows, more
| monsters and also a way out of the moat if yo
| happen to fall in
THEATRE.ZIP 82442 02-02-95 All your buddies have gone to the movies and
| they've taken all the heavy weaponry with
| them! This level is designed as your average
| modern day movie theater, with a few twists.
| Run through your local cinema blasting all
| those annoying patrons in your way, demanding
| that they decrease the popcorn prices. Your
| buddies are in there, dead or alive. Can you
| find them and the weapons they brought with
| them? Good luck!
THECROW.ZIP 155098 02-02-95 Doom I DEATHMATCH. RECOMMENDED: 4 player
| network, with fast machines. (i.e. all DX/33
| and up.) Was playable with 4 players on two
| DX/33's and two SX/25's, but it wasn't fast.
| This is a stalking level. Although it seems
| large, there are so many overlappings and
| connections and teleporters that it shrinks a
| bit. Nevertheless, it's a _big_ place, which
| makes it easy for someone who knows the level
| well to stalk. Weapons aren't plentiful, you
| have to go spelunking to get to 'em. I
| designed the level so that if you just fragge
| your opponent you know where he's gonna go
| because all the weapons are laid out in the
| TUNNELS. Fortunately for you, there are
| multiple sniper points around all weapons wit
| the tools of the sniper, the chaingun and
| shotgun, in easy reach
THEEND.ZIP 11962 02-02-95 I designed this level specifically for me and
| my friends, who like the final level in
| multiplayer games to be a blast-fest with lot
| of monsters (you know, "the final" battle).
| For others who like levels where your primary
| opponent is monsters, this is for you. As in
| all my levels, this is "professionally"
| designed (wall textures align properly,
| careful choice and variety of room settings,
| exits labelled, ammo/supplies placed prudentl
| etc.)
THEHIVE.ZIP 144041 02-02-95 They're back. This time it's not the moons
| they are after, but Mars itself. There is a
| hive/colony on the surface, and you (lucky
| you!) have been chosen to lead the attack.
| But your company never made it down, and you
| are the only one left. You have some
| explaining to do. Assuming, of course, that
| you can make it back
THEJOKER.ZIP 55255 02-02-95 The Joker for Deathmatch! I personally would
| like to Welcome you to the first in a series
| of customized PWAD files created for use with
| the Registered Version of ID's virtual realit
| game DOOM. The Joker is best run on a 486 CP
| not so much because of map size, but because
| of detail and the configuration for
| multi-player in deathmatch mode. The map
| does contain 1 single player start so that yo
| can practice your moves, the traps, and your
| escape routes before you plunge yourself and
| your deathmatch partners into battle! It is
| highly recommended you practice running
| through The Joker unless you and your
| deathmatch partners are equally "untrained" o
| this map! Not a lot of secret doors nor
| invisible areas on the map (TAB) so that ther
| is truly a "fair advantage" ... yet plenty of
| tricks that the experienced deathmatch player
| can appreciate! BTW, there is NO EXIT!
| Suggested play should be to a pre-determined
| number of frags or exhaustion
THEKEEP2.ZIP 38856 02-02-95 TheKeep2 is the final update of The-Keep.Wad
| The medieval castle has few secrets to give
| away but playing a deathmatch can be fun. Th
| chaingun appears to be the weapon of choice i
| this wad. There are two places now to pick i
| up. Thekeep2 is a castle with towers,
| dungeons, and a moat. It has a good
| deathmatch or single player layout
THEKURSE.ZIP 66739 02-02-95 I have made a lot of quicky deathmatch and
| co-op levels. This is my first single player
| level. I worked a LONG time on this level,
| and it's pretty big. It consists of 4 main
| areas. The first is the entance hall, the
| second is to get the keycard to get to the 3r
| and so forth. I didn't implement skill
| levels, but it CAN be ended alone on Ultra
| Violence, I have tested it, as well as some o
| my doom buddies. I added in extra monsters
| and weapons for multiplayer <cyber-demon>. I
| suggest you play with no monsters when playin
| deathmatch. I also put in many secret area's
| so try and find those
THELAST.ZIP 62226 02-02-95 A fairly large level. No Spider Demons, Cybe
| Demons or BFGs, just solid Dooming. Strategy
| is very important
THENEST.ZIP 52205 02-02-95 Another day, your slouching at the controls o
| your garbage tug cursing your stupidity at
| majoring in Astrodynamics in the middle of th
| biggest defense cutbacks in the 21st Century.
| Suddenly the ship's communications system
| beeps with an emergency message from Space
| Command!
THEPIT1.ZIP 11661 02-02-95 I made this wad because I am sick of trying t
| play DeathMatch on giant levels where you end
| up looking around for the other player for 15
| min. and when you finaly find him, its over i
| one second because you both have the rocket
| launcher. This level is only made for
| deathmatch, its not to exciting, just an
| elevator, some stairs, some pillars, and a pi
| with a ledge. The only weapons on this level
| are the shotgun and the chaingun (because
| they're the funnest to kill your friends
| with). I think its funnest to play to 20
| frags. I have had a lot more fun playing
| DeathMatch with this wad than any other. Its
| simple, but fun
THEPITS.ZIP 27560 02-02-95 This WAD replaces episode 2, level 1. It is
| dense and fast. Heavy on death and
| destruction, with only a minimal level of
| trickery. It uses the difficultly levels, so
| you can play "don't hurt me please" if you're
| a wimp. I'd like to see an LMP if somebody
| can beat this on "ultra-violent."
THETA-4.ZIP 58920 02-02-95 Due to the imposing evil forces that presentl

THE_GRID.ZIP 68402 02-02-95 Specifically designed 4 player deathmatch lev

THINKWAD.ZIP 20042 02-02-95 Two brand-new doom levels, think11.wad

THIS.ZIP 9020 02-02-95 So, you feel a little claustrophobic today.
| Well that's ok. Afraid of the Dark? Oh, and
| screams rattle your nerves. This is just a
| little level but has a few surprises. Ok and
| don't forget to check that map of yours from
| time to time. I think it will fill in the
| blacks to the title
TIBET.ZIP 154430 02-02-95 The troops the UCA sent into the Tibetan base
| failed to get past the helipad. Therefore
| it's up to you to crawl in through the cavern
| upon which the base was built. Within the
| caverns is a deserted monestary where the

TIGERDEN.ZIP 46370 02-02-95 You are trapped in enemy land, a den of tiger

TLHWADS.ZIP 52206 02-02-95 Here are two modified / new doom levels for y

TMATCH-1.ZIP 17447 02-02-95 This is a tight little wad with lots of narro
| corridors and a couple secrets. All of the
| weapons are available, although the rocket
| launcher and the BFG are a bit of a *pain* to
| get. There's a couple little goodies thrown
| in, like the micro-maze room
TNCROSS.ZIP 7794 02-02-95 TNCROSS.WAD - A Deathmatch Arena for DOOM To
| help me learn the great new DEU 5.0 beta 4 WA
| editor, I created the enclosed level, startin
| with Alastair Brown's simple CROSS.WAD and
| juicing it up quite a bit
TNCROSS2.ZIP 13095 02-02-95 Tncross2 - A Deathmatch Level (E2M1). Well,
| perhaps it's time to update this. No
| elaborate maps of New Jersey, no amateurish
| clipping errors to put up with, just a clean
| and slightly diabolical level for the
| dedicated Deathmatch player! A few secret
| passages provide opportunities for healthy
| backstabbing and rabbit punching, just the wa
| you like it. Other secrets and physical feat
| abound. A few monsters thrown in to keep
| everyone honest
TNDMEXIT.ZIP 7357 02-02-95 TNDMEXIT - a couple of cooperative Deathmatch
| exits. People were discussing cooperative
| Deathmatch exits, i.e., nobody ends the level
| until everybody agrees. Here are a couple of
| simple ones, for two and three players
| respectively. You can easily generalize the
| concept to four players, although I doubt
| whether many foursomes would really insist on
| unanimity before an exit! Replaces E2M1.
| Note the thickness of the sector "guarding"
| the exit switch, that's necessary in order to
| keep people from pressing it "through" the
| wall - interesting discovery. Enjoy, and use
| the designs at will
TNPLHOME.ZIP 35109 02-02-95 You're sitting back in your easy chair relaxi
| by the fireplace and watching a star trek
| rerun on the tube when you get this eerie

| comes upon you. This isn't your house!
| There's a strange noise coming from the
| kitchen and slowy, carefully you go...
TNSPIRES.ZIP 12522 02-02-95 Tnspires - A Deathmatch Level (E2M1). Here's
| another one, based on a friend's suggestion.
| You want simple and devilish, you get simple
| and devilish. This one is designed for hours
| of pointless fragging. If you ever wanted to
| be REALLY HIGH UP in Doom, here is your
| chance! (If you fall, stick around
TNT.ZIP 45753 02-02-95 Pretty large level with a few hard to find
| secrets. Try to find them without using an
| editor! Had fun creating it. Have fun tryin
| for 100% everything. Can be done once you

| door you find
TORCHED.ZIP 254314 02-02-95 Simple first level WAD file for Doom
TORCHLEV.ZIP 31317 02-02-95 A great setting for an action packed
| deathmatch, not too big, not too small.
| Stairs, doors teleporters and lifts. Playabl
| 1 player, needs texture alignment!
TORTURE.ZIP 68634 02-02-95 This level was primarily intended for solo.
| Deathmatch is supported. There are many ambus
| points and ways to double back on your
| opponent so you should use most of them when
| playing. (Especially helpful for those demon
| who like to follow you!) DONT GET LOST!
| Happy Dooming!
TOUGHGUY.ZIP 19900 02-02-95 This level is my first, and as such was
| designed to demonstrate an idea I had to
| simulate 3D play by silencing the teleporter
| and making the destination look like the jump
| point. Once I demonstrated that it worked I
| made a hardcore shotem' up because my roomate
| complained that DOOM is too easy. The level
| lacks a "motif" and I was lazy with the
| textures but if you have time to notice you
| must be a DOOM GOD. An included file
| toughguy.bat replaces the nessesary sounds &
| graphics, plays the game (with added
| extensions) then restores on exit
TOUR.ZIP 72682 02-02-95 Designed this puppy to be a very intense

| (Virtual Gaming Center) tournament (see
| TOURNEY4.VGC & RESULTS4.VGC files included

| open arena, wide halls, and most weapons

| "king-of-the-hill" theme. As with all of my
| maps, I like making things "fair" and to have
| a cost/benefit in getting the weapons
TOURNEY3.ZIP 72026 02-02-95 This file was created especially for a VGC

| WAD files, the files named PHOBOS 1-5 were

| any ties. All of the PHOBOS files are basicl
| the same with monsters and wepons moved
| around, TIE.WAD is a small room with only
| shotguns
TOWER.ZIP 56291 02-02-95 Episode 3 level 1 has always been kinda lame
| for me. Not much happening there and the onl
| way to crank it up a little was to hurry thru
| it. TOWER replaces E3L1 with what I attemped
| to be a "classic" type of DOOM level. Check
| out the "BARON TUBE". I should add that this
| wad was originally designed for CO-OP play,
| but has been edited for single player mode.
| (It's much more fun in co-op though)
TOWER1.ZIP 206363 02-02-95 On a strange watery asteroid far far away the

| The red key is easy to find. The blue key is

TOWER2.ZIP 57540 02-02-95 TOWER2.WAD has the HOM corrected in the cente

TOWER3.ZIP 29666 02-02-95 A perversion of doom episode one, mission one

| They're training them! For what? That you

TREE1.ZIP 32029 02-02-95 This is a moderately difficult level, althoug
| different skill levels are implemented. It
| features a broad array of monsters and
| weapons, with just enough health to get you
| through the rough parts. A few nifty effects
| can be achieved with barrels, ceilings, and
| floors, if you do the right things. This is
| not an entirely hack-n-shoot level, and
| minimal intelligence is required (sorry,
| couldn't help it!)
TREE2.ZIP 54664 02-02-95 A largish level, with monsters from lots of
| unexpected places, and a few cool ideas to
| show off, including some nice light sourcing
| (sort of). This is a level to make the
| cautious wary, and the brash, dead. To set
| the scene, read the story in the text. Only
| weapons and monsters from Episode 1 are
| included. Not suitable for a Deathmatch,
| although the start locations are in there
TREE3.ZIP 284934 02-02-95 Night falls as you prepare to enter another

| best for non-deathmatch play, although
| deathmatch starts are there. They should also
| have very little slowdown, since they were

TREEDM1.ZIP 95121 02-02-95 A deathmatch designed with fun and balance in

TRENCH.ZIP 32657 02-02-95 TRENCH WARFARE! An incredible DEATHMATCH

| didn't overload the level with bad guys, they
| are just strategicaly placed. Remember, this
| is a WAR, not masacre. FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT
| TURN RESPAWN ON! The level will run out very

TRENCH1.ZIP 25384 02-02-95 This is a deathmatch WAD that my brother and

| that adreneline flowing. Plenty of hiding
| places, dark areas, and kill zones. There ar
| NO secret doors to worry about, except for On
| lift whose entrance is in semi-darkness, Just
| look for the torches that mark it. Plenty of
| armor, ammo, weapons, healing etc.. I know
| some of you hate having the BFG in a
| deathmatch but I believe that it's a perfect
| deatmatch weapon since it takes time to shoot
| and gives the other guy a chance avoid it.
| Besides it's a real rush hearing that thing

TRIAL_B1.ZIP 18790 02-02-95 This is basically an unfinished wad. I wante

TRIANGLE.ZIP 36570 02-02-95 Deathmatch wad. Small, intense. Lot's of

TRICKY.ZIP 37810 02-02-95 A tricky little WAD to stimulate the senses.

TRIPWIRE.ZIP 35213 02-02-95 In this WAD, you better have the sound effect

ULTIM.ZIP 19897 02-02-95 I created this level with the intention of it

| There are many sniper towers, teleports,

| Includes the chainsaw lover's best dream!
| Simple, short, but great fun. Very different
| If you are looking for an intricate, mind

ULTIMA.ZIP 10200 02-02-95 This level started out as an attempt to
| recreate some of the terrain in the Ultima
| Underworld series, but due to the limit
| inherent to doom on calculating only up to 16

| There are two lifts in the level (somewhere),

| level switch
ULTIMA2.ZIP 54902 02-02-95 This .WAD file was created based on the Ultim

| I've taken the time to implement the

ULTIMATE.ZIP 404051 02-02-95 This is a group of nine made from scratch

ULTIMO.ZIP 137108 02-02-95 ULTIMO is the ultimate DOOM treat - prepare t

| There is enough ammo for you to complete ALL

| ULTIMO is named after the new pizza that Pizz

UNDER.ZIP 66574 02-02-95 You've wiped clean the city, but you realise

UNDERSEA.ZIP 62232 02-02-95 You find yourself in the middle of the ocean

| Secret rooms are there but do not show up on

URMEAT.ZIP 32613 02-02-95 This level is designed for a single player,

VOLCANO1.ZIP 39105 02-02-95 There are rumours of an secret underground

WACK.ZIP 89035 02-02-95 Lots of monsters, a fair number of puzzles.

WADODETH.ZIP 56871 02-02-95 DEATHMATCH! DEATHMATCH! DEATHMATCH! This wil
| challenge even the most experienced Death
| Match players. Play revolves around a
| courtyard with a Pyramid of Death. (called
| this because if you want the rocket launcher,
| you must ascend to the top. Not easy when
| someone is shooting at you!) Also included
| are two 'prison cells' to which you shall be
| teleported if you cross the wrong portion of
| teleporter line. Once inside.. you are fair
| game to all. In order to give the teleporter
| a fell of randomness, I split the line def
| into smaller segments so that crossing at one
| point might send you to the top of the
| pyramid, but it might send you to the prision
| or to the trench at the base of the pyramid
| (which also has a teleporter line to the

WALZHAUS.ZIP 113091 02-02-95 Updated version of level 2 for the
| Blotwalz.wad. I have updated it to give it 2
| floors
WALKER.ZIP 31059 02-02-95 WAD for both deathmatch and single play. It
| has some good sniping spots, and weapon
| placements. A couple secrets rooms which
| arn't hard to find
WALLS.ZIP 33720 02-02-95 Although difficult, this level should get a b
| beyond the 14-year old idea of packing a larg
| room with tons of ammo and tons of monsters.
| There are some subtleties, secret doors and
| teleporters galore (this whole thing
| supposedly started with teleporter technology
| gone wild). Cheat codes? They're for wimps,
| save your game and you'll be fine
WALLTRAP.ZIP 18617 02-02-95 This .WAD is a variation of a file by another
| Author. Great for Deathmatches. I varied it
| by increasing the Wall height and type and
| added a few enemies and weapons. Several
| transports to keep people out in the middle o
| things to keep fragging
WANTON.ZIP 84556 02-02-95 WANTON.WAD is a damn big new level for E1M1
| registered DOOM which I think fulfills all th
| above definitions. Ok, so it may not be that
| lewd or lustful but the imps do wear spikes
| which does kinda remind me of bondage or
| sumthing. Wanton can be played solo,
| cooperative or deathmatch and the difficulty
| levels are active. I definitely suggest
| playing hurt me plenty or easier at first and
| working your way up if you feel brave. This
| is a very large level (average play time is 4
| mins to SUCKS) and it will challenge your
| dooming abilities. In order to complete this
| level you will need to be quite effective wit
| ALL the E1 weapons including a good right
| uppercut
WANTON12.ZIP 164477 02-02-95 This is WANTON, only faster! I have split it
| into two parts. WANTON12 replaces E1M1 and
| E1M2
WAR.ZIP 18642 02-02-95 The first ever PWAD by REoL! Some

WAR3.ZIP 73770 02-02-95 Since it's late at night, winning the big war
| you go to the fanciest hotel known in hell,
| the Under Arms Hotel, to rest for the night,
| or will you rest? You can check in, but can
| you check out? Explore the amazing Under Arm
| structurally correct archetecture, and take a
| dip in the pool (it's empty, oops!), or go in
| the 5-star restaraunt, or maybe go in the
| kitchen and cook up what you kill in there!
| Can be a very nasty mission at the higher

| FIFFY3.WAD, and start a new game in the SHORE
| OF HELL episode!
WAR4.ZIP 66658 02-02-95 Satan's School of Warfare! The sequel to

| you could get even with your teachers,
| professors, and some classmates? Don't get

| students!
WAR5.ZIP 61866 02-02-95 Chambers of Death. A new level for DOOM!
| You're pitted against nearly 500 enemies, all
| at once! TOUGH!
WAREHOUS.ZIP 21130 02-02-95 This level is for those DDDP's (Diehard
| Deathmatch Doom Players). This WAD has been
| tested and tested and tested. The only
| problem is that there isn't enough time in a
| day when you get four DOOM Guru's together to
| do JUST battle. This WAD was not designed fo
| single play but can be easily modified and
| added onto to become one. Happy Deathmatchin
| and don't stay up to late
WAREHSE1.ZIP 30448 02-02-95 This level just screams 4-player deathmatch.
| Since the maze is so big, you may want to use
| respawn just to give yourself something to do
| while looking for the others. I have a theme
| in mind, so this may become part of a 9 level
| episode. But then again, everybody says that
WARHOUSE.ZIP 62636 02-02-95 Imagine that a large, abandoned, warehouse in
| your home town has been overrun by nasties.
| It is up to you to save the day! You must
| first fight your way in from outside, make it
| through the outer offices, and then finally
| into the warehouse itself. Although
| difficulty levels are implemented, it is
| always pretty tough! Good Luck! The level
| itself is pretty large, and may be a little
| slow on some machines if all the nasties are
| running around at the same time. On a 486 it
| is fine

WATCH51.ZIP 67255 02-02-95 This is my first DOOM level (but don't let yo

WEDDING.ZIP 12684 02-02-95 Sort of an "Unholy Chapel". (Is it going to
| a "White Wedding?")
WEDGE.ZIP 39450 02-02-95 This level is elevator intensive without
| becoming unplayable. The level contains all
| the gut-splattering and limb severing weapons
| that DOOM has to offer, though some are easie
| to get than others. Originally designed as a
| single player game for people who think that
| ultra violent is a day at the beach, WEDGE ha
| proved itself as a KILLER modem deathmatch

WETWRKD1.ZIP 66904 02-02-95 We've lost contact with a small science outpo

WHACKR.ZIP 21273 02-02-95 This is a Deathmatch WAD only, with an Arena

| lot like a weed whacker on the map
WHARE15.ZIP 49185 02-02-95 You've recently been sent to work as a temp i

WICKED.ZIP 52953 02-02-95 A medium sized level with lots of sargents,

WIDOWMK.ZIP 142053 02-02-95 After your return from Hell and a nice 6 mont

WILLE1M1.ZIP 17421 02-02-95 Another WAD file for you DOOM freaks
WILLIAM1.ZIP 70720 02-02-95 This group of levels is made just by random

WINGS.ZIP 5733 02-02-95 The main point is to FLY! Since flying is

WIRE2.ZIP 35810 02-02-95 Well, here it is. Thanks for all the great

WOLFEN.ZIP 43515 02-02-95 This is a rework of the classic first level o
| Wolfenstein 3D. (e.g You've been captured.
| You start out in a dungeon cell, next to the
| still warm corpse of a guard. However, this
| time it's a key instead of a gun that you
| start with. (Made more sense.) From there,
| it plays like WOLF3D. (I hope.) One thing t
| keep in mind, however: If you're playing
| cooperative mode, you're the only one with a
| key, so you really should let your buds out
WOOD.ZIP 69665 02-02-95 You haven't a clue who you are, or WHERE you
| are. (Isn't that the crappy thing about
| amnesia!) ...but you'd better hope that
| doesn't affect your chances to escape this
| maze of beasties, locked doors, stairs,
| stairs, stairs, and more stairs. This sure
| isn't the way to Grandma's place!
WOODHALL.ZIP 24798 02-02-95 This is a butt-kicking WAD rather than a puzz
| WAD in playtesting it proved barely
| completeable on UV at first playing by someon
| unfamiliar with the layout, which seems about
| right. It's set in a large wooden building;
| I've tried not to use 2 million textures.
| It's low-tech: you're using the shotgun
| throughout, on sarges, imps, troopers and the
| odd demon. It contains several unpleasant
| surprises. The use of excessive gamma
| correction is not recommended: it ruins the
| looks of the level, and should prove
| unnecessary anyway, as the level is well-lit.
| It's most fun on first playing, as the
| surprises ain't so aftrwards. There is no HO
| AFAIK, and texture alignment seems to be fine
| by and large. There is no attack in the room
| you start in
WOODHAL2.ZIP 30994 02-02-95 If you liked WOODHALL, you're gonna love this
| I've made the whole level much prettier, and
| aligned all the textures properly (thanks,
| Raphael.) No more boring identical rectangula
| rooms. I've cut the light levels a bit to
| reduce the shimmer, and fixed numerous small
| map and monster behaviour bugs. The previous
| version proved too easy, so there's lots less
| health and a few extra critters. Favourite
| playtester comment is still "_How_ many imps?
| If you haven't played WOODHALL, it's set in a
| midsized wooden building; I've tried not only
| to avoid playing "Collect all the textures",
| but use only a few to create continuity. It'
| low-tech: you're using the shotgun throughout

WOW.ZIP 191893 02-02-95 Deathmatch in an Art Gallery. Mission: You

WOW1.ZIP 61885 02-02-95 This is the chilling finale to The Shores of
| Hell, but with a few extra twists. There are
| many more enemies and things to figure out.
| There is an entire section that cannot be
| reached without TWO people playing. Here is
| warning... Even on the easiest skill setting,
| this level will be challenging. Here's
| another warning... I created this level on a
| 90 MHz Pentium with 16 Meg of memory. There
| are loads and loads of enemies running around
| I do not recommend playing this level on your
| old 386. My 486 66 with 32 Meg of memory was

XENO11.ZIP 80654 02-02-95 Specially designed for D/Match or Co-op. Fig

XFIRE.ZIP 94197 02-02-95 A weird mix of half-baked ideas. (YOU try to
| come up with something original to compete
| with all those other new .WADs). Level one i
| just being cute, and gives you a chance to
| build up supplies. Level two is short, and i
| based on a simple idea. Better oil that chai

XMAS1.ZIP 1443981 02-02-95 The aliens have taken over christmas. It's

YCRBYCH.ZIP 32290 02-02-95 The idea behind this level is to play with on
| other person in a deathmatch game. It is
| pointless to play it by yourself. The level
| is set up so that both players start in good
| starting places. I recommend you use -respaw
| because there aren't a lot of monsters. To

YES.ZIP 2485 02-02-95 T3.wad spinoff, sort of. Great Deathmatch
YOHO.ZIP 61604 02-02-95 My friends say that this level is too hard, b

YOUNG1.ZIP 45597 02-02-95 This is my first WAD and I think it captures
| the spirit of the original DOOM levels - with
| a few new tricks of my own! Hardened DOOMers

ZEUS.ZIP 261183 02-02-95 The ZEUS Level is a showpiece for what can be

ZIGGURAT.ZIP 55781 02-02-95 Expansion PWAD for registered DOOM
ZMAZE11.ZIP 48754 02-02-95 Fun map. If you like looking around corners

ZONE.ZIP 24939 02-02-95 Designed specifically for DM 2.0 with

ZONE13.ZIP 32727 02-02-95 Zone13 was designed mainly for net doom play,
