  1. GOLDEN AXE -- Genesis

  4. Stage Select- 
  5. To start on any of the levels in Golden Axe, go into 
  6. the Options Screen and select arcade mode.  Now push
  7. the DIRECTIONAL Down to the LOWER Left (the characters
  8. will spin on the skeleton's hand) and press A and 
  9. START at the same time. A number will appear in the 
  10. top left hand corner. Press Up and Down to adjust what
  11. level to start on, then select your character and start
  12. the game.

  14. Extra Credits-
  15. To get extra continues in the arcade mode, go to the 
  16. character selection screen.  Press and hold down-left
  17. on the control pad.  The characters should spin 
  18. continuously.  As you do this, press A and C.  Now
  19. let all the buttons go and press Start.  You should
  20. have 9 credits instead of 3.
