GOLDEN AXE -- Genesis

Stage Select- 
To start on any of the levels in Golden Axe, go into 
the Options Screen and select arcade mode.  Now push
the DIRECTIONAL Down to the LOWER Left (the characters
will spin on the skeleton's hand) and press A and 
START at the same time. A number will appear in the 
top left hand corner. Press Up and Down to adjust what
level to start on, then select your character and start
the game.

Extra Credits-
To get extra continues in the arcade mode, go to the 
character selection screen.  Press and hold down-left
on the control pad.  The characters should spin 
continuously.  As you do this, press A and C.  Now
let all the buttons go and press Start.  You should
have 9 credits instead of 3.
