A Resource About Living with Multiple Sclerosis
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently, I dealt with a question about multiple sclerosis in this
column, and tried to afford my reader the information that was requested. From
the volume of mail I have received since then, I am not sure I did accomplish
as much as I would like to, for there were many questions that deserve
answers, and many life stories that revealed that more help was necessary. In
a case like this I turn to friends who are always ready to help and am now
able to offer you a booklet, "Living with Multiple Sclerosis, A practical
Guide" which you can obtain free by request from the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society, 205 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017-5706, Attn:
Information Resource Center AB. Please provide a stamped self addressed
envelope. The booklet is filled with answers to your questions, and in this
way I can also introduce you to a tremendously important resource for more
help and information about Multiple Sclerosis. You can't find nicer or more
considerate people, nor more up to date and reliable information than from
this outstanding national voluntary health agency. Don't delay in making that
important first contact.
