  17.      I have been a bit surprised to find many questions concerning psoriasis
  18. in my mail lately.  Usually the summer months bring some measure of relief to
  19. this noncontagious, chronic skin disorder that produces scaly skin lesions.
  20. However, the letters require more than just the brief answer I can provide
  21. here, and so I contacted my friends at the National Psoriasis Foundation, who
  22. rapidly came to my assistance and made a most informative 14 page brochure
  23. available to my readers.  It is called " A Guide to Understanding Psoriasis"
  24. and is filled with answers to many of the questions that are the concerns of
  25. individuals with this disorder, and their families.  Send your request, naming
  26. the booklet, DIRECTLY to the National Psoriasis Foundation, Dept.  AB, P.O.
  27. Box 9009, Portland, Oregon, 97207.  You will NOT need to send an envelope this
  28. time.  When you get your copy, carefully scan the list of other publications
  29. listed on the inside front cover, that are also available from the Foundation.

  31. of this Foundation receive many important benefits that help them to fight
  32. their condition, and obtain support and understanding from the thoughtful and
  33. considerate staff.
