Copying information with vCalendar
You can use vCalendar to copy appointments and tasks to another vCalendar-enabled application. You use vCalendar from either the Edit appointment page or the Edit To Do task page. You can also copy information using vCalendar when you're viewing a read-only appointment or a read-only To Do task.
- Click the appointment or task you want to copy information from.
- Click
.
The Helper application you enabled in your browser starts, and the information you want to copy appears in that application.
- Using the method supported by your Helper application, select the information in the Helper application and export the information to the vCalendar-enabled application you want.
For example, if Notepad is your Helper application, select the text that appears in Notepad, choose Edit - Copy, go to the other vCalendar-enabled application, and choose Edit - Paste. If Wordpad is your Helper application, select the text, and then drag and drop your selection onto the other vCalendar-enabled application.
