Using vCalendar In Organizer Web Calendar, you can use vCalendar to share appointment and task information with other applications (for example, personal information managers, e-mail systems, or web browsers) that support vCalendar. With vCalendar, you can share information in an easy, automated, and consistent manner. Organizer Web Calendar supports exporting information with vCalendar; it doesn't support importing information. You share information between vCalendar-enabled applications using standard desktop methods, such as the Clipboard copy and paste operations, or drag and drop. Before you use vCalendar in Organizer Web Calendar, enable a Helper application in your browser. For example, you can use Windows' Notepad or Wordpad as your Helper application. Helper applications are used by browsers to interpret files that it has retrieved but is unable to read. By enabling a Helper application for vCalendar, you tell your browser how to interpret information in your Organizer Web Calendar file. The Helper application can then display the information in a format that another vCalendar application can interpret.
