Zwei-Stein 3.01
It's no match for the good commercial video editors and its interface is a little clunky, but Zwei-Stein has some surprisingly powerful features for a freeware program. It allows you to capture video from your digital video (DV) camera, edit it on a timeline, where you can organise multiple video, audio or image clips. There is a good range of effects and other image editing tools, including some more advanced compositing-like tricks, which Philip Moore will occasionally cover in his regular do-it-yourself movies column.
