iavaZIP - How to extract files from an archive.

When you extract files from an archive, iavaZIP decompresses it and places it in the folder of your choice.

You can restore as many folders and files as you want and retain the structure of any sub-folders. Simply select the files you want in the tree window. More informations about selecting files and folders are placed here.

If you press the "Extract"-button, from iavaZIP's tool bar, this dialog box is coming up to let you choose the directory where you would like to place the extracted files. This dialog box offers the option stated below to you:

Destination folder: - This shows the location, where iavaZIP will extract the files you've selected. iavaZIP will create the folder for you, if you enter one, which does not exists.

Selected files: - The Selected Files radio button instructs iavaZIP to extract only files that are selected in the tree window of iavaZIP.

All files: - The All Files radio button instructs iavaZIP to extract all files from the archive.

Overwrite Existing Files: this check box determines whether you are prompted before existing files are overwritten with files from the archive.

Use Folder Names: this check box determines whether iavaZIP will use folder names (or path names) stored in the archive. You will probably want to check this option for most extract operations. If this option is checked any folder names stored in the archive will be appended to the Destination folder when appropriate.
