Stop Music Listen closely...

And you'll hear a subtle transition from the tunes you were hearing on the previous page to a new musical style. Wasn't that nicer than the jerky start and stop you used to get as you transitioned between MIDI files?

Or click any of these boxes to add the motif:

Brass Kick: Piano Lick:
Steel Drums: Nylon Guitar:

You'll also notice that rather than hearing the same looping tune over and over again, the Interactive Music Control provides music that dynamically regenerates so that the music you hear is never the same twice!

Note: To hear this demo, you must be running Internet Explorer 4.0 or Internet Explorer 3.02. If you are running Internet Explorer 3.02, click Yes if prompted to download the Interactive Music Control.

With the Interactive Music Control, Web authors can add "motifs" or new sounds that take place when the user responds to something in the Web page. To see how this works, move your mouse over one of the musical instruments below and listen for the change.
