![]() ![]() ![]() Tight Integration: Your messages are just a mouse-click away! Outlook Express mail and news messages are just a mouse-click away in the Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview. Regardless of whether you're browsing the Internet or your own hard drive, Outlook Express Mail and Outlook Express News are always available from the Start menu, Go menu, or taskbar. Open a Web page, and Outlook Express is right there on your toolbar. (Try the Send Current Document feature!) Here's how it works...
Regardless of whether you open Outlook Express Mail or Outlook Express News from the Start menu or the Internet Explorer toolbar, you have access to both types of messages. The final release of Outlook Express will incorporate Internet Explorer's subscription scheduling and notification engines, so you can schedule downloading of mail and news. Internet Explorer will then tell you how much mail or news you have waiting.
