Thumbnail Views: A peek at the pages

Thumbnail views give you a "bird's-eye view" of your favorite Web sites or important folders. Seen something cool on the Web but you can't remember where? Just go to your Favorites folder and click Thumbnails on the View menu.

For example...

Smart Favorites Just type C:/Windows/Favorites in the Address bar to navigate to your Favorites folder. Click Thumbnails on the View menu and watch the thumbnail views of all your favorite sites appear in the right-hand frame.

You can accomplish the same thing by clicking Favorites on the toolbar, then clicking Organize Favorites. When the Favorites frame appears, right-click on it, point to View, and click Thumbnails.

To see thumbnail views of a folder
In the Address bar, type the path to the folder you want to view, then right-click on the folder view and select Properties. In the Properties dialog box, check Enable Thumbnail View and click OK.
