![]() ![]() ![]() The Search Bar makes it easy to manage your search results Frustrated by long lists of Search results that make navigating between them difficult if not impossible? The Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview offers a simple solution: the Search Bar. Now you can browse the pages your search engine turns up without losing track of the list itself. No more bouncing back and forth between a found page and the search list! Here's how it works...
Once you've installed the Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview, click the Search button to get to one of the Internet search services (if you don't pick a specific service, Internet Explorer selects a different one each time). Type in the word or phrase you want to search for and send the search engine on its way (Search, Seek, Go... whatever the command). Within a few seconds, the search service will return a list of pages containing the information you asked for.
Just point to a link displayed in the search results (don't click) to learn more about it, or
click the link and watch the page appear in the opposite pane.
Click as many links as you like to surf any page in the list, without losing your place!
