Waver

Reference
Index

WAVER distorts a linked texture in such a way that it looks as though it's being viewed through a funhouse mirror or from above flowing water. WAVER deforms in three dimensions.

How Does It Work?

WAVER smoothly pinches and stretches a linked background texture. Even when specifying a high Scale Factor (which defines the maximum abount of distortion desired), the result is a very smooth distortion. This is what gives WAVER results the look of a liquid or gaseous distortion.

Hints!

Translating through WAVER in the Z direction gives a nice wavy water effect. (See the Translate component in the Transform class for details on translating through textures.)
