This section asks you to enter information regarding your income for the tax year ending 5 April 2000. The Inland Revenue asks you not to include pence in your tax return - round down the income you enter to the nearest £, and round up your tax credits and tax deductions. However, both TaxCalc and the Revenue's own computers will work out your tax in pounds and pence. First, enter your income - you can ignore any income that is tax-free.
