You must complete this screen if, during the year ending 5 April 2000, you had:

  • income from a trust - but in some cases this should be entered on the screen relating to the source of income, not here, e.g. on the property screens if the income came from property. For details see Help
  • income from a trust which you set up but which is taxable as your income
  • income from the estate of a person who has died
  • taxable maintenance or alimony. This is likely to be taxable only if it is paid under a legally enforceable agreement first set up in 1988 or before (or under a further arrangement varying or replacing the first one)
  • any income not already entered elsewhere, such as casual earnings, and any losses relating to such income (if not entered elsewhere)

TaxCalc will complete the appropriate pages of the Inland Revenue tax return for you. To view these, go to Tax Return in the Inland Revenue Forms section of the Navigator. Note that if you have income from trusts or estates you will also have to complete the Trusts & Estates supplementary pages to send in with your tax return. These pages are not available in TaxCalc Lite. If you want to buy the full version of TaxCalc go to www.taxcalc.com or ring 0800 252100 (Orderline only).

If you had no other income, click here to continue to the Reliefs section.
