You should complete this section if you want to claim tax relief on any of the following payments made in the year ending 5 April 2000:
- a loan or mortgage which is not within the MIRAS scheme
- pension contributions
- maintenance or alimony you pay which qualifies for tax relief
- charitable giving by deed of covenant or Gift Aid
- the cost of some vocational training you pay yourself
- other tax-allowable items, including payments to Venture Capital Trusts or Enterprise Investment Schemes, expenses incurred after a business has ceased, and some payments to trade unions and friendly societies for pension
and life insurance benefits.
