This page helps you to configure the Quotes screensaver.
  

Acceleration
If you have installed Direct X 7.0 on your machine you can select in this dropdown box if you want to use it. The alternative is that the screensaver uses the regular windows graphic interface. The latter is not as fast as Direct X.
 
If you do not have DirectX 7 you can download it here or visit the DirectX website.

Screen Area
In this dropdown box you can configure the screen and color resolution at which the screensaver will run. Use a lower resolution if the screensaver doesn't run smoothly on you're machine.
  

With these options you can configure the usage of a different color for the background and the font color used in the screensaver.
   

You can select multiple motions with this option. A motion is the effect in which Quotes will appear on the screen.

Here you can configure which Quotes data files the screensaver will use. By default the files selected in the Quotes application will be used. If you want other Quotes in your screensaver that in your mail that you can uncheck this default option and select data files for the screensaver.  
   

Select which fonts the screensaver will use with this option.
   

You can select the backgrounds of the screensaver here. 

You can add your own background by copying bitmap files (.BMP) to this directory: '%YourQuotesPath%\backgrounds'.

With the option 'background display' you can select if you want the background tiled/stretched across or centered on your screen.
