Align Bar
The Align Bar is used to group and align Objects on the page.
A Group is an Object that combines 2 or more Objects together. A temporary group is created by dragging a selection box around the Objects to be grouped. Select a spot beyond the first Object and while holding the left mouse button down, drag the select box to completely
surround
all Objects to be grouped. Releasing the mouse button will create the temporary group.
-The
Group
button is used to convert a temporary group into an Object group.
-The
Ungroup
button is used to break an Object Group into its component Objects.
A Temporary or Object Group can be dragged and scaled with the mouse. Only a temporary group can be aligned.
-The
Align
buttons will
highlight
in blue when a temporary group is created. These six buttons can be used to align all members of the group to the edges or centers of the group box.
-The two
Spacing
buttons are below the align buttons and are used to equally space the Objects of a temporary group horizontally or vertically.
-The four
Order
buttons are used to move any Object in front of, or behind other Objects. An Object can be placed behind all other Objects, to the front of all other Objects, or forward or back one position.
