Where to board the tube for quickest exits

The booklet entitled Tube Hopper available for £2-50 at Waterstones and other bookshops) indicates which carriage to select on an underground train at your starting station in order to arrive alongside the exit or entrance on a particular platform at your destination - thus beating the crowds and cutting your journey time.

Editorial comment

A previous Institute publication suggested that this information could be marked on station tunnel walls as a free service to passengers - for example: 'Get on train here for quickest exit at Willesden Green'.
