'Smart toilets' that can monitor our health are on sale in Japan at £3,500. Within five years more advanced and cheaper models will be available, predicts Dr Jeffrey Fisher, author of 'Rx 2000 - Breakthroughs in Health, Medicine and Longevity'. 'Instead of flushing urine immediately, the toilet will rapidly analyse it by electronic sensors. By sitting on the seat your weight and body fat measurements are also automatically recorded. A cuff attached to the tank will measure your blood pressure, and your shower head will contain an optical computer scanner which will check body cells.'
