Fasting walks

From a brochure sent to the Institute.

The idea of fasting combined with long walks is relatively new, although in Germany thousands of people have already practised fasting walks. Walking in the open air over long distances gives you a sense of well-being, whilst fasting heightens your sense of perception and makes you more aware of yourself. Walkers don't eat any solids but do drink water, tea and vegetable soup. The walks are usually for one week, covering about 15 miles each day .
