Amiga TCP/IP Stacks

There are 4 main TCP/IP stacks available for the Amiga, although fortunately they are all closely compatible, which means that regardless of the stack you choose to use, all applications should work with them.

GUI Demo Comments
AmiTCP/IP
4.3
N/A None 4.0 on AmiNET This product appears to be discontinued - the NDSi website is no longer accessible, nor do NDSi respond to emails. However, there are still a great many people using AmiTCP, and the 4.0 demo is still very useful in its own right for normal modem use.
AmiTCP has been replaced by Genesis.
Genesis £24.95 MUI Genesis Demo available Whilst based upon the AmiTCP 4.6 kernel, this stack has major additions compared to the AmiTCP system. As well as an enhanced GUI plus easier configuration for multiple users, additions such as a socks server and client have been added. Available both as a standalone product, and also bundled with NetConnect 2, a complete Internet software bundle including Web browser, Email, news, IRC and more.
INet225 $349
(5-user pack)
Yes N This is the full version, for 5 users, which comes with an NFS daemon, to allow you to set the Amiga up as an NFS server.
INet225p $150
Yes N This is the single-user personal version, without an NFS daemon (but with NFS client support).
Miami 3.2b $35 Choice of MUI or GTLayout Time-limited (1 hour)full demo. Very easy-to-configure and easy-to-use powerful TCP stack - the most up-to-date of all Amiga TCP stacks.
Designed mainly for those who only require a single network interface, such as the vast majority of Internet users. For more power, see Maimi Deluxe.
Miami Deluxe $60
($30 upgrade)
Choice of MUI or GTLayout Not yet Presently in beta, this is an enhanced version of Miami, with multiple interface capability (e.g. use an Ethernet card and a ppp dial-up simaltaneously, enabling the Amiga to act as a gateway), plus some additional functions such as IP masquerading and ppp-dialin, etc.
A full release is planned imminently.
