Recommendation: Install the appropriate Internet Explorer updates and Outlook Express updates. Also install available updates for the optional components on your system. To request Service Pack 5 on CD-ROM, call 888-673-8925 toll-free.

Follow the steps identified in the Windows NT Workstation 4.0 SP5 Product Guide document to address Year 2000 issues known as of April 1999.

Date handling: Dates are stored and manipulated as full dates. Dates are integral to the product's operation. The system clock is used for current date and time data.

Dates are displayed in two-digit and four-digit year formats, using the short and long date formats specified in Control Panel Regional Settings.
