Messagelist ........... Sort by MsgNumber If you select this menu item the messagelist will be sorted by the number of the messages in the UMS messagebase. This is normally the order in which they were written in the messagebase. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'1' by ReplyLink If you select this menu item the messagelist will be sorted by reply linking. In this order messages will appear below their parent message. The second criteria for sorting is the subject. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'2' by Subject If you select this menu item the messagelist will be sorted alphabetically by the subject, prefixes like "Re:" are ignored. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'3' Select pattern... This menu item opens the Select Window. It can be used to select or deselect messages by AmigaDOS patterns. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'S' Select all Select all messages in the messagelist. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'+' Unselect all Unselect all messages in the messagelist. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'-' Read selected See button Read selected Show all See button Show all Hide same Author With this menu item you can remove all messages from the message list which were written by the same author as the current one. This is a kind of temporary filter for removing uninteresting messages. If you call this function from the Article Window all messages by the authors of all selected messages are filtered. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'4' same Subject With this menu item you can remove all messages from the message list which have the same subject as the current one. This is a kind of temporary filter for removing uninteresting messages. If you call this function from the Article Window all messages with a subject like the one of the selected message are filtered. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'5' Set, Unset and Toggle flags With these three menus you are able to set, unset and toggle flags for messages. If you use these menu items in the Article Window the changes are applied to all selected messages. If no message is selected they are applied to the message under the cursor. If you use these menu items in the Message Window the changes are applied to the current message. IntuiNews supports the manipulation of these flags: mark Mark message. archive Message will be archived, it will not be expired. postpone Message will be postponed, it will be marked as new if IntuiNews is started again. junk Message will be junked, it will not be scanned again. old Message will be marked as old. delete Message will be deleted. expire Message will be expired, it will removed with the next cleanup of UMS messagebase. After you select this menu item a requester is opened and you are prompted for the name of a folder. The message will be moved into the folder you enter. This function is only available for Netmail. If you call this function from the Article Window all selected messages are moved to the specified folder. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'G' Forward as Mail... If you select this menu item the Mail Window is opened prepared to forward the message via Netmail. This way you can send a mail you received to somebody else. You can edit the message before it is written to the UMS messagebase. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'K' Forward as News... If you select this menu item the Post Window is opened prepared to forward this message to another newsgroup. This way you can crostpost a public message. You can edit the message before it is written to the UMS messagebase. Keyboard shortcut: AMIGA-'L' Add to address book... With this menu item you can add the author of the current message to the Adressbook. For this purpose the Comment Requester is opened. Edit... See button Edit Save as... See button Save... Save to clipboard... This menu item can be used to save the current message to the clipboard. You will be prompted for the clipboard unit to use. Print... This menu item can be used to print out the current message. You will be prompted for the name of the printer device.
