What is my CD/DVD drive letter?
If you're not the technical type, you may have been confused by my (or other tutorials) mentioning your CD-ROM drive letter. To determine this letter, open My Computer and look for the Thief CD's icon. Next to it will be the name and in parenthesis the drive letter ...
Usually a DVD/CD-ROM will have a drive letter D:, but this will not necessarily be the case especially if you have multiple drives.
What version of Thief am I running?
The first Thief was released multiple times and not all of my tutorials work for all versions of Thief. I'm currently running Thief 1.37 (the first release of Thief Gold) and most of my articles reflect that.
