Make a selection with the object tool
You use the object tool to select one or more whole objectsA part of a picture, including shapes, text boxes, or lines that can be edited individually. The order of objects can be changed by using the Stack. at a time for editing. To select an object with the object tool:

On the Stack, click the object.

Every time you start Picture It!, the object tool will be selected by default.

Unlike the other selection tools, the object tool does not have an options palette.
Tip
To select multiple objects, press CTRL, and then select the objects you want.
