Work with objects and selection

When you first download pictures from a digital camera or scanner to your computer, the original image file comprises a single object (or layer). But as you work on the picture in Picture It!, you can add things to the picture such as text, shapes, or even other pictures. Because each of these parts of the picture can be edited individually, they are considered to be separate objects.

By using the Stack, you can rearrange the order of these objects on the canvas and select specific objects to work on. Each object in your picture appears in a separate window of the Stack.

With the advanced selection tools, you can perform more precise editing by isolating part of an object to touch up, apply effects, copy and paste, and more.
