Work with objects and selection
When you first download pictures from a digital camera or scanner to your computer, the original image file comprises a single object (or layer). But as you work on the picture in Picture It!, you can add things to the
pictureGeneral term refers to a single photo or a composite project on the canvas. such as text, shapes, or even other pictures. Because each of these parts of the picture can be edited individually, they are considered to be separate
objects.
By using the StackThe palette in the workspace that shows the layering order of objects., you can rearrange the order of these objects on the canvasThe white area on the workspace that represents the printable portion of the picture. and select specific objects to work on. Each object in your picture appears in a separate window of the Stack.
With the advanced selection tools, you can perform more precise editing by isolating part of an object to touch up, apply effects, copy and paste, and more.
