You should now choose the partitions that you wish to format.
You should format all the new partitions, in order words those that you have just created. Be careful not to format an already existing partition that you will reuse! For example, /usr or /usr/local. All the data contained would then be lost.
For more security at the time of formatting, you can tick the "Check for bad blocks during formatting" option.
