Drag and drop of files and folders

Files and folders can be moved or copied by dragging them to a folder in the Folder Browser. The default action is to move a file or folder that is dragged. To make a copy instead, hold down the CTRL key while releasing the mouse button. You will see the cursor change to include a plus symbol (+) to confirm that a copy will be performed.

Folders can be dragged within the Folder Browser, or can be dragged from the File Browser. Files can be dragged from the File Browser, or the Duplicate Files Browser.

Files and folders can also be dragged to or from other applications that support drag and drop, such as Windows Explorer.

When you move or copy files or folders, you will need to rescan the folders affected to update the folder size information.
