  1. There is one problem with the 1278:  I had problems copying RTTY and AMTOR
  2. until I put an RFI "power line" choke on the cable from the 1278 to the radio.
  3. Apparently, there's a lot of RF noise on the 1278's ground plane that affects
  4. the radio when the 1278 is plugged into it.  The choke cleared things up
  5. quite nicely; there is no noise now when I plug it in.
