  1. Those of you who may be considering buying an MFJ-1278 TNC for the
  2. capabilities of FAX, SSTV or RTTY...DON'T EVEN THINK OF IT. You will be very
  3. disappointed. I have had my MFJ-1278 for over two years and have had very
  4. poor results. I have made several telephone calls to MFJ seeking their help
  5. and tried different software with it and even re-aligned the TNC several
  6. times. MFJ claims to know of no problem with the 1278. I beleive there is a
  7. problem since they can't seem to help me and since I have seen several other
  8. messages on the BBS's by other users with the same problems. If you're
  9. looking for a multi-mode TNC, look for something else first. If you feel you
  10. must have an MFJ-1278...please buy mine.
