  3.   The  Canadian Social  Insurance Number  (SIN) consists  of nine (9)
  4.   alphabetic characters, arranged in three groups of three (3-3-3).

  6.   You may perform a checksum validation  of the SIN by using the USDL
  7.   program. Enter  an SIN in  the first field  and press <enter>.  The
  8.   program will  perform checksum validation for  the number using the
  9.   standard algorithm,  returning either "PASSED"  or "FAILED" in  the
  10.   second field.

  13.   other financial  or personal risk  solely on the  reporting of this
