  7. This article is just a little thing I whipped up about hacking op in irc.
  8. **If you know  how to hack ops  then don't waste you time reading this**.  
  9. But for  all of ya that don't know  how  then you might  want to read on.

  11. Ok here is how it works... :)

  13.  The first thing  you must do is to  find a split server. Then on that server
  14. you can  join any  channel you want.   I usually join  about  10 or so.  You 
  15. should see your name with a @ in front of it. This is  good. So  for so good. 
  16. All  you are doing is joining a server  that is split  form the  rest of IRC 
  17. and joining a channel you  want op on.  Now  there are two channels with the 
  18. same name. When channel that you are on merges  or reconnects to the net you 
  19. will see things  like "Jonnyboy  joined channel #hottub." (You will see alot 
  20. off  people  joining  the  channal.)  On  the  other  side  of the split the 
  21. users  will  see  Servers  detected  +o fatboy  or something to that nature.  
  22. Chances are  that  when  you  join  the channal someones  script will -o ya.  
  23. I know from  experience that  people running  phoenix  will  deop  anyone by 
  24. default on any  server ops.  A good way  around this is to bring a bot  onto 
  25. you split server.   Ofcourse you want your bot opped so op it.  Anyone kinda 
  26. bot will do.  (Eggdrop  or veves  ever you want.)   Now if someone -o's you, 
  27. your bot will +o you.  I do not recommend this at all. Do not do this unless 
  28. you hate the people on that channel, you want to take the whole channal over 
  29. or  you  wanna make some enemies fast.  Most of the time if you deop someone 
  30. it creates a chain of oping  and deoping.   Lets  say you hack op's with you 
  31. bot and billy deops you. Your bot then sees this and deops billy and ops you.
  32. Well uhh billy has friends  that  you havent deoped yet. Damm their bots got 
  33. you.  You and your bot are kicked  out  of the channel and banned for a lame 
  34. takeover attempt.  On the other hand if you wanna take the channel over just 
  35. do a mass deop right when you join.   So what if someone deops you, your bot 
  36. will ban-kick him and you can procede with your kicks.
  37. --A stranger yells from the crowd, "How do I find the splits?"

  39. Children. :) Ok you can use almost anything that finds splits. My personal
  40. favorite and  I believe the best is ll.irc.  The three you will be using are 
  41. ll.irc, ll.c ,  and net.irc.   Just compile the ll.c and load the scripts in 
  42. irc.  To compile the ll.c just  type  cc -o ll ll.c at the unix prompt.  And
  43. to load the ll.irc and net.irc just type /load ll.irc and then /load net.irc.
  44. This will be done while in irc. Now the ll.irc will show you a menu when you
  45. load it up.  All you need to do is type /ll on and it will start the looker.
  46. When it finds a split you will hold down the ctrl key and press t. This will
  47. create a window  on the other server.  Say  you handle is bob, you handle or 
  48. nick will be like  w_bob on the other window.  Now join the server with that 
  49. window. (The one that is  split.)  If you hold ctrl and press the w key, you
  50. can switch between the two windows.   What  you  want to do is kill your old
  51. window that is not on the split.  Hold ctrl and press w. Now you should back 
  52. in your first window. If  you wanna test it just type  /j #whatever channel.
  53. If you dont have a @ in front of you name and you are not the only person on
  54. that channel then you are probably in the wrong windows.   Hold ctrl and hit
  55. the w key.    Now /j #whatever channel.   You should now see a @ in front of 
  56. your name and you shold be the only person there.    (The purpose of showing 
  57. you how to tell what window you are in for sure is so that you dont kill the 
  58. wrong window.  Kill the old window you were on by typing /wk . Make sure you
  59. are on the first window.  The first window should have people in the channel 
  60. but the second window will not.
