  18.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  20.     Cut bread in 1/2 inch cubes, brown in butter in frying pan. When      
  21.     brown, pour hot water over bread. Break egg into this and stir. Season
  22.     with salt and nutmeg.
