  14.        2        cup   Sugar                                             
  15.        1        cup   Water                                             
  16.        1/2      cup   Corn syrup - light                                
  17.                       Red food color

  19.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  21.     Pare and slice peaches in thin slices. Make syrup using 2 c. sugar, 1 
  22.     c. water, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, color a pale pink. Cool syrup, add 
  23.     peaches. Put ice cream in sherbet glasses and cover with peach        
  24.     mixture. Serves 8.
