  21.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  22.        1        cup   Water

  25.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  27.     Filling: Boil and cool. Put between cookies before baking.

  29.     Note: Combine ingredients for dough while filling is cooling. Roll    
  30.     out, cut, spread with filling. Bake in moderate 350 F. oven.
