  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        1        ea    Yeast cake - fresh                                
  14.        2        cup   Milk - scalded                                    
  15.        4        Tbsp  Fat                                               
  16.        4        Tbsp  Sugar                                             
  17.        1        tsp   Salt                                              
  18.        4        cup   Flour - bread

  20.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  22.     Scald milk, add fat and sugar. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast dissolved  
  23.     in a little warm water. Add salt and part of flour. Beat until it     
  24.     forms bubbles. Add rest of flour and knead into soft dough. Let rise. 
  25.     Shape into rolls, let rise again. Bake partly through, remove from    
  26.     oven and brush with beaten egg diluted with water. Sprinkle with poppy
  27.     seeds and bake to golden brown.
