  13.        1        cup   Flour - sifted                                    
  14.        3 1/2    tsp   Baking powder                                     
  15.        3        Tbsp  Sugar                                             
  16.        1/4      tsp   Salt                                              
  17.        3/4      cup   Milk                                              
  18.        1        cup   Whole bran                                        
  19.        1        ea    Egg - well beaten                                 
  20.        3        Tbsp  Fat - melted

  22.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  24.     Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder, sugar and salt, and sift 
  25.     again. Pour milk over whole bran, add egg and fat to bran mixture, add
  26.     flour, stirring as little as possible. Bake in greased muffin pans in 
  27.     hot oven 425 F. for 20 minutes.
